We had the perfect afternoon for our family. Our captain Troy was great and had plenty of knowledge of the area. Thank you for the great memories!

It was a lot of fun! Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area. We even saw a few sting rays. Shell island was really nice.

We were so disappointed in our Dolphin tour and snorkeling??? What a joke!!! Island ferry could care less about seeing dolphins. We saw four little dolphins for about two seconds in an hour. When we did see these dolphins, our captain actually was just as excited because I don’t think he expected to see those. Now we go traveling to Shell Key, along the way, getting all the information you wanna know about the real estate on the canal, who lives in each house, the cost of each house and condo. We were shown a few nests of the osprey bird. The captain thought he was doing us a great service by pointing this out time and time again but unfortunately we weren’t on a sightseeing trip for birds and nests. We were with my family and we have all been on dolphin sightseeing excursions in the past. From our experience, we knew that this was a big scam. When we finally arrived at Shell Key to begin our snorkeling excursion, the captain beached our little boat onto a piece of sand and told us to get out. There was NO beach whatsoever to stand on or walk on!! He turned off his boat, and I was upfront in the boat with my husband, and my heart sank when I looked around me. My first thought was, how am I getting out of this boat into this filthy water. Mind you there was no white beach or beautiful turquoise water at which point the captain explained that it was high tide. I am 69 years old. He did not bring out any lifejacket for myself or my grandchildren one of whom has special needs. But yet we were told to get out into the gulf , walk along the side of this piece of land in knee deep water and look for a shells . He also warned us that we had to be careful because the current could carry us away if we went out too far!!! I said there was no way I was getting out of this boat. At that point, we were disgusted and asked to go back to our car and that we felt our sightseeing trip was over. Our captain then proceeded to tell us about another piece of land jetting out from the mainland that we could go to, but he said we would have to be careful because it drops real fast and real deep. Again, I panicked thinking that if I went too far out, over 10 feet from land, there was a major drop off into deep water! I feared for the safety of myself, my husband and my grandchildren. They are not professional people and should not be giving tours. For those who think that this is a good tour I feel sorry for you because you obviously haven’t really been on a good dolphin sight seeing trip before. When I asked for a refund, I was told absolutely not. They had no compassion for anything that I told them when we reached the dock! Please do not invest in this excursion! Shame on them! I’m sorry that the only photos I have is of homes along the canal because there wasn’t anything else that we could photograph!

A tale of woe and redemption for the ages! We arrived at our scheduled time only for our group to come to the crushing realization that I had mistakenly entered the wrong date on our reservation. Time stood still as I fell under the ever weighty eye of wifely scrutiny with mounting concern that I would have to tell my progeny that we were not going on a boat to see dolphins, go snorkeling and collect shells. Without hesitation, Captain Chris came to our rescue with bold decisive action and accommodation. Little man was off for his first ever boat ride! Captain Chris, fluent in the language of the dolphin, called them over and it was clear that his boat was favored above all others. Many a shell was collected while our beloved child snorkeled his first snorkel. Cherished memories were made on this fateful day which will be fondly remembered. We owe a debt of gratitude to Captain Chris and strongly recommend that you seek him out for your seafaring adventures! Thank you!

My wife and I had a great time with friends on our tour to Shell Key. Captain Dave was an awesome captain and tour guide. He found dolphins easily with us and provided interesting information throughout the tour.

This was such an amazing experience! Our tour guide was very insightful about the surrounding area and marine life. We got to see some dolphins and go shelling. Overall, a great experience and would recommend anyone who comes to the St. Pete area to give it a try!

My friend and I had a great time on this cruise! We got to see several dolphins, including a baby!! It was also a very smooth and easy ride. We also got to snorkel and shell a bit on the island. Highly recommend!
