South Mission Bay Park se encuentra en el extremo sur de la península de Mission Beach en San Diego, justo donde el océano se encuentra con el canal de la bahía. La caminata frente al océano comienza en la bahía de South Mission y corre hacia el norte / arriba de la península para montar en bicicleta, trotar o caminar. Los fogones hacen de este un buen lugar para una hoguera por la noche en la playa.
Después de zarpar de Mission Bay, se dirigirá hacia el océano Pacífico abierto. En solo 10 minutos, pasarás por los embarcaderos y disfrutarás de una vista panorámica de la famosa Dog Beach de Ocean Beach y el emblemático muelle de Ocean Beach antes de aventurarte en las vastas aguas azules.

We had a great experience and saw whales, dolphins, birds, seals, sunfish. The crew was very pleasant and helpful
Relaxing morning on the ocean. No guarantee that you’ll see much and what you do see if for mere seconds, but still a cool experience. Snacks and beverages available in the galley. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of seating, all with decent views.

The staff were nice, and clearly they don’t control the whales. Still, we didn’t see any. We did see a large group of dolphins, which was cool; but it seemed they gave up on us seeing whales once we saw the dolphins, turning back immediately after. We also got the feeling they may typically take the same route. Not sure if that makes a difference? At any rate, it was a nice boat ride and a beautiful sunset!

Didn’t see whales but the dolphins were amazing. The crew is pretty helpful but be sure to take motion sickness meds.
It was a nice boat trip saw a couple of dolphins which was neat but a 21 hour drive to go on this one not sure it was worth it

Sightings can never be guaranteed as wildlife follows its own schedule, and we know that doesn't make it any easier when you've travelled that far. It was a great trip. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We saw whales and dolphins and lots of sea lions
great experience, the crew was beyond nice and helpful. Glad to have gone, the crew made it that much better! could not ask for more!
