Bateaux Parisiens Luxury Dinner Cruise with live music. Told us to get there no later than 7.45 but didn’t get taken through until gone 8. We were seated and upon arriving at table were rolls. I have coeliac and did email them beforehand. Told waiter who didn’t seem to understand or care. Everyone seated around us and got drinks. We still waiting. It was like we were invisible as the waiter poured table next to us and several times nearly hit me in the face with his elbow! Had to ask for our welcome drink and when it came was warm and flat - asked for it to be swapped. Then brought cheese straws - again cannot eat this and no alternative. Attitude was didn’t care. Gluten free options extremely limited and without any other option! Food of poor quality. Rolls too hard. Everyone ordered main and yet again we had to ask to order. O English breakfast tea so didn’t have any drink at end. The whole experience was awful and it was supposed to be a lovely night out with my daughter. Would not recommend this at all. All very rushed and informal. Seating if only 2 people is too close to other table.
I'm very disappointed in this tour. At over 500 Euros, I expected a window seat. When a lady gave us a crappy little table in the middle, I told her we paid for a window seat. She pointed across the aisle at a window. There were 2 empty tables by the window, but the manager rudely said we can't have it and walked away. After an hour and a half, everybody got the bums' rush. Was the food any good? It doesn't matter. Crappy table, rude staff, ridiculously overpriced. Zero stars.
Cruise was more professionally handled than expected. Be aware that while tables along the windows are desirable, the sun on hot days can be a problem. Every table has a good view. The boat turns and retraces its path back to dock so you get to see both sides.
So i have a very horrible experience. I understand because of the Olympics they cancelled our Sienne river dinner, we never had the tour, but I keep contacting them, they did not refund my $500 back yet. Absolutely disappointed!!!!
Hi Dear Customer Thank you for your message. the area of activities was been close by the government due of the Olympic game as all over the world know. your refund it will been process. we didn't own the country all tourism activities we all fall under the government programme if they government said we need to close if they need that area we will obey the authority of the country.
This dinner cruise was a perfect way to see Paris at night. And the food and service were excellent.
