He is a real crook..! he picks you up in an impeccable Mercedes Vito and halfway through the trip he switches you to an old van without air conditioning! We should have suspected from the very first moment that he was a scammer because of the number of xenophobic and racist comments he made... he took us to fewer places than he had said, he changed our van when it suited him, he charges you five euros more if you pay by card, and he returned us to the ship earlier than planned! My mother left him a review and he replied with a lot of irony that on the next visit he would give us a €100 discount... Stefano: do not waste your time replying to this comment. I hope never to run into you again in my life; one must flee from scammers.

Ibra gave us the VIP treatment today. It was a very hot day and every time we jumped in the car with Ibra we found consistent reprieve from the heat. After leaving our cruise ship, we crammed in tours with the Vatican, the Forum, and the Colosseum. If it weren’t for Ibra, we never would’ve had the time to complete all of that and squeeze in time for pizza too. Ibra was a wealth of knowledge. He provided a window tour in between events, and was very polite and kind. He was a good communicator and provided us plenty of water. Highly recommend Ibra!

Booking with very easy and the operator responded immediately to my requested pick up date. (I did request the booking several months in advance to make sure that I could get our exact date/time.) The driver was waiting for us after we got off the ship with a name placard so it we easy to find him. The car was very comfortable and was a much better choice than the option the cruise line offered us. We had plenty of room for all our bags plus lots of legroom! The price was cheaper than what the cruise line offered and we did not have to get on a large bus with lots of other people. Highly recommend!

EXCELLENT SERVICE! Highly recommend using Rome Cabs for your transfer from cruise port to Rome/hotel. We were greeted by our driver and he quickly swept us up from the chaos of disembarking into his air conditioned clean comfortable van and on our way! Don’t look into other options, it’s worth every cent!!!

We (dh, myself, and dd) used RomeCabs twice just this past month (May 2026), a custom transfer tour from the cruise ship (HAL Oosterdam) to our Airbnb near Campo de' Fiori and then the second was an airport transfer from our Airbnb to Rome Fiumicino Airport. Our transfer tour was with Caesar. He picked us up promptly at 8:45, placard with our name waiting directly outside the cruise port building. He loaded us up and off we went to Ostia Antiqua. The van cab was spotless, plush, had great AC, and cold drinking water for us in a cooler in the arm rest. Caesar dropped us off right outside the entrance of the ruins and gave us a pick up time 1.5 hours later. He also arranged a lunch reservation for us at a local restaurant while we were in the ruins, a very kind act as it was Sunday. He picked us up after touring the ruins (which are vast and we could have been there all day tbh) and drove us just a few blocks to the restaurant in the village and told us we had a half hour before our reservation so we had time to look around and visit the lovely castle (Castello di Giulio II) next door which was included in our ruins ticket. Lunch at Ristorante Monumento dal 1884 was fantastic, one of the best of the trip to be honest. The ravioli... to die for. We Whatsapped Caesar when done and he was waiting for us on the street. We were then off to St Paul Outside the Walls. We took a touch longer there but Caesar was fine with that and was waiting in the same spot as drop off. We then went to the Calixtus Catacombs. He explained exactly what we needed to do to get tickets and what to expect. Very helpful. After that he dropped us off on the Appian Way just to amble for a while as that was something we have always wanted to do. Kind of gives me goosebumps to think of it now, so thrilling. He dropped us at our Airbnb at 5:30pm and helped get our luggage to the door. Caesar was a wealth of knowledge, talking to us about what we were seeing out the windows and what we could expect to see at our next stop. We were utterly thrilled. This is not a cheap tour (590 Euro total for all 3 +tip, self pay tickets, and lunch) but we thought it a good value considering the excellent service and overall ease. Our early morning transfer to the airport was more basic obviously but the same ease and door to door service was present. So appreciated that early. Again the van was spotless, plush with great AC, cold water available, and an amiable, helpful driver. The fare was 120 Euro for all three of us and our 3 week long travelling circus of luggage (2 large rollers, 1 medium, 2 small, and 3 carry ons). The van could have easily held up to 5 adults though luggage space should be a consideration. Again, well worth the cost to us for such great service. We will use RomeCabs again. We have zero complaints or even criticisms. They anticipated our every need, accommodated our desires, and delivered with style.

The transfer service was excellent. Our transfer was from the cruise port to our hotel in Rome. Perfect timing - he knew we would likely be early, so he was early. This worked out perfectly as we were disembarked early. Very friendly and professional. Immaculate vehicle. I will use RomeCab again on future trips to Rome.

We’ve used Stefano RomeCabs twice for transfers to/from the port. They are reliable, professional, and we felt very safe. Even with a particularly difficult drive today when so many roads were closed due to a bike race, our driver very patiently navigated his way through and dropped us off right in front of our Airbnb.
