We love the whole tour. We enjoyed the views and they serve a good lunch for us. The crews are very helpful and friendly. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
Booked these guys through our hotel and they were excellent, prompt arrival with aircon minivan, 10 mins to landing pier, helped us with hire of fins and shoes for just a couple of pounds and a handy waterproof phone case which proved invaluable. We had no waiting around and left within 5 mins of arriving at the pier. Visited Barracuda lake, twin lagoon, skeleton wreck, coral reef and the beach, Kayangan lake and lastly Pukaway cave. Our captain Eric did the reverse of all the other trips running that day so we had minimal other guests at any of the places, Kayangan Lake we shared with only 2 other people! The team of 3 spoke good English, were very polite and had an insane ability to free dive down for around 2 minutes and literally made the trip for my family. Highly recommend booking a private speedboat tour for a family, we went at our own pace (faster than all the other trips) and did exactly what we wanted to do.
First of all, i would love to say that the staff were amazing, they did a great job, they get 5 stars. the tour guide was with us the whole time holding my gopro and was very patient with us while we took thousands of pictures, and was also a GREAT photographer. Really great guy. Islands were beautiful and unforgettable and we felt lowkey rich while traveling on the only private boat on the water lol. The lunch was great, again we felt extremely special and taken care of. However, the payments and times were not accurately andvertised and made the trip stressful and irritating. We selected the boat time to be at 10, which was an option, and for 9 full hours so we could watch the sunset. We were notified the night prior that we would be PICKEDUP at 10. We clarified with the head guy and he said our 9 hours would start when we got on the boat, which was almost 11. Everything was perfect until we were told the boat had to be back at 5 for some reason. So we payed almost $800 US ($380 per person) plus the clear kayaks they charged us for that were PHP1500 ea, and the entrance fees (we knew about) that were PHP1000 per person…. for only 6 hours and 6 stops. We both felt rushed and only got 30-45 minutes on each spot. We weren’t offered any refund or apology by the owner whatsoever, he just told us we should have booked it at 8am. Why have the 10 am option then when you know you have to be back by 5? I will be reporting this company, I get maybe being shy 30 minutes of time but 3 hours?! That’s crazy, especially when a customer is paying over $1000 US dollars for this.
The crew was excellent, the boat was nice and the adventures were amazing. The day started with a bit of a suprise to pay the ebtrance fees up front. I do not feel like there were required fees for all of the place we visited, yet i was still charged a fee "per person", this seems a little odd. You may wabt to reasearch which sites actually require a fee up front Even with the fees this experience was excellent. Just dont forget to bring pleanty of Philipino Pesos to cover your tips and any other items you would like to purchase along the way. (Beer, Snacks, suvinoeers, etc.) I would recommended bringing snacks and alcohol if you want it it on the boat, we also brought a small soft cooler to keep drinks cold. Our guide was great, he made sure everyone was safe and did a good job providing us with info about the sites we visited. The boat definitely stands out from the rest which was kind of fun. Overall i believe this is a great tour, i just wish the entrance fees were included in the overall price :( and make sure you check other sites you may find it cheaper.
Hi! Thank you for your review. The team would be happy to know about this. As per the destinations, all destinations has its corresponding entrance fees because all destinations are privately owned and not government owned. Please see to the link below the official list of entrance fees for the Coron Island Tour. https://www.e-philippines.com.ph/philippine-tourist-destinations/coron-travel-and-tour-packages/coron-tourist-spots-entrance-fees-and-details/
We enjoyed a private island hopping tour to visit the beautiful lagoons and beaches in Coron. We had a speed boat which was very useful to discover the spots and beaches, and select our itinerary. we visisted several famous spots like the lake, lagoons, smith beach …. I really recommend this company. They also offer other water activities.
