Comenzamos en Cameron Bakery con pasteles frescos y mantecosos antes de pasear por Merchant's Quay junto al sinuoso río Lee. Una corta caminata nos lleva a una de nuestras tiendas asociadas en la histórica Frenchchurch Street, donde podrá disfrutar de donas recién hechas esa mañana. Luego le ofreceremos variedades coloridas y creativas que muestran el estilo y el sabor modernos de Cork. Mientras nos dirigimos a nuestra última parada en el Café Mexicana, pasaremos por el histórico Coal Quay, un sitio comercial durante siglos. En este acogedor café escondido en el Barrio Hugonote, podrás elegir entre alfajores o el pastel mexicano de la abuela para un final dulce. Aquí exploraremos esta parte de la ciudad de Cork, que habría sido un hervidero de actividad a lo largo de los siglos, ya que los barcos entraban y salían de la ciudad con diversos cargamentos, uno de los más famosos son los barriles de mantequilla de corcho de primera calidad. 15 minutos.
Ubicada en Emmet Place es una de las casas de ópera más famosas de Irlanda. De pie afuera de las puertas de entrada, le explicaremos la maravillosa historia de este icónico edificio, además de señalarle las famosas Shandon Bells y dos hermosas casas Queen Anne, una de las cuales es operada por la cadena internacional de café Starbucks.

Paddy was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and great host. Local pastries were excellent. Paddy was aware I had another tour at Midleton Distillery, and got me a taxi to make it to Midleton just in time.
