La presa de Asprokremmos es una de las presas más grandes de Chipre, situada dentro de un paisaje dramático y abierto. Su amplio embalse y las colinas circundantes crean impresionantes vistas panorámicas, por lo que es una parada ideal para tomar fotos y un momento para apreciar la belleza natural de Chipre. La presa Asprokremmos fue construida entre 1978 y 1982, e inaugurada oficialmente en diciembre de 1982 como parte de los proyectos de desarrollo hídrico de Chipre. Se trata de una presa de vertedero de tierra de unos 53 m de altura con una longitud de cresta de aproximadamente 700 m, creando un embalse con una capacidad de alrededor de 52,4 millones de m3 de agua, el segundo más grande de Chipre.
Agios Nikolaos es un pequeño y tranquilo pueblo que refleja la auténtica Chipre rural. Rodeado de campos y casas de piedra tradicionales, ofrece un ambiente tranquilo, cafeterías locales y una visión de la vida cotidiana del pueblo lejos de las multitudes turísticas. Los cafés y otras bebidas serán pagados por el viajero.
El puente de Tzelefos es un puente de piedra veneciano medieval bellamente conservado, escondido en lo profundo del bosque de Troodos. Una vez parte de una antigua ruta comercial, ahora se erige como un recordatorio pacífico de la historia de Chipre rodeada de naturaleza.
El monasterio de Kykkos es el monasterio más famoso y rico de Chipre, fundado en el siglo XI. Es famoso por sus magníficos mosaicos, interiores ricamente decorados y el icono sagrado de la Virgen María, lo que lo convierte en un importante hito espiritual y cultural de las montañas Troodos.
El Mausoleo Makarios III es el lugar de entierro del Arzobispo Makarios III, el primer Presidente de Chipre. Situado en la colina Throni, cerca de Kykkos, ofrece un entorno tranquilo con vistas panorámicas sobre las montañas Troodos y una fuerte importancia histórica.

El Monte Olimpo es el pico más alto de Chipre, que se eleva por encima de la cordillera Troodos. Conocida por su icónica cruz y vistas panorámicas, ofrece una poderosa sensación de elevación, naturaleza y simbolismo en la parte superior de la isla.
Lambouri Winery es una de las bodegas familiares más antiguas de Chipre, con una historia que data de siglos. Ubicado en las estribaciones de Troodos, es conocido por producir vinos de calidad a partir de variedades de uva autóctonas, combinando tradición, patrimonio y terruño de montaña en cada copa.
Omodos es uno de los pueblos más históricos y encantadores de Chipre, conocido por su rica tradición vinícola, casas construidas en piedra y calles estrechas empedradas. Having been to Cyprus for 26 years and done most of the sites, I certainly enjoyed this trip with my 2 friends. We had a fantastic driver/guide Reno, who told us about the Island and the places we were going to see. He was very knowledgeable, a careful driver and made us feel at ease. He gave us several options through the day of things we could do and went at our pace. Knotting was too much trouble and would certainly recommend him and we intend to use him again.

This was one of the best days of my trip in Cyprus. I originally planned to visit only Kykkos, but the tour opened up much more: nature, culture, history, and local flavors. As we drove into the Troodos Mountains, we stopped at a wide, peaceful reservoir surrounded by hills - a great viewpoint. The driver/guide shared interesting local stories and history along the way. One of my favorite moments was a simple coffee stop, sitting outside with a strong Cypriot coffee and a glass of water. Kykkos Monastery was powerful, spiritual and atmospheric, just as expected, a place worth visiting. We also saw a stone bridge in the forest and walked through Omodos village, with its narrow streets, small shops. The wine tasting was relaxed and enjoyable, with Cypriot wines in a welcoming setting, where I had one of the best veggie burgers I have ever tried. A special thank you to the guide, knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate. The pacing and personal approach made the experience feel genuine. Overall, a well-balanced tour and much more than sightseeing. I’d definitely recommend it if you want to see more than just the coast.

I booked this trip through the Queens Bay Hotel when I stayed there at Easter and I am so glad I did . It's a full day out and definitely worth the €50 . Picked up at the hotel we travelled way up into the hills to the most gorgeous village , I had lunch in a local taverna , later we went to a local winery for wine tasting, a visit to a magical waterfall and finished the day at Aphrodite's Rock which is just the most mesmerising place on earth
