Para celebrarlo de una manera inusual y única, únete a nosotros en el Salón del Convento de los Capuchinos para un Concierto Barroco de Navidad especial, interpretado "a capela" por el prestigioso Conjunto Schola Romana. Este evento encarna verdaderamente la espiritualidad de la Navidad, a través del poder de la música sacra, y cuenta con un recorrido por el Museo Capuchino y la Cripta que lo guiará a través de la historia y la devoción de los Franciscanos. El programa musical cuenta con música de la Capilla Sixtina de Palestrina, Arcadelt, Morales; cantos gregorianos interpretados en vivo por Schola Romana Ensemble, nuestro grupo de música residente históricamente informado. Después del concierto, será acompañado al Museo Capuchino y a la Cripta para recorrer de forma independiente con la ayuda de una audioguía, disponible en 13 idiomas. Tendrás la oportunidad de admirar "San Francisco en Meditación", una obra maestra absoluta de Caravaggio, y ser raptado por los 4000 huesos de los frailes capuchinos que componen las impresionantes decoraciones de la Cripta.

Visita Santa María Inmacolata, la iglesia capuchina del siglo XVII cerca de la Plaza Barberini en Via Veneto, famosa por La Dolce Vita de Federico Fellini. Admira obras maestras de Guido Reni, Domenichino, Pietro da Cortona, Gherardo delle Notti y otros. Visita la Cripta-Museo, decorada con 4.000 huesos de frailes, y ve La meditazione di S de Caravaggio. Francesco. Programa : Música de la Capilla Sixtina a cargo de Palestrina, Arcadelt, Morales, Victoria, Pitoni, Agazzari, y cantos gregorianos interpretados en vivo por Schola Romana Ensemble. I really enjoyed the concert, the artists were talented, the musical program was top, the explanations of the music was very well done. However, I do not recommend the visit to the crypt for younger people or those who have never seen skeletons, in conjunction with death.

Over the years, we've had the pleasure to welcome a lot of kids to our event and often they were the most excited coming out of the tour, but it is absolutely necessary they come in prepared for what they're about to see. The Capuchin Crypt can be shocking, and it is not for everyone. This doesn't mean that those who don't feel like entering the Crypts aren't invited to enjoy our choral concert and the visit to the Capuchin Museum! Again, thank you so much. Experiencing beautiful compositions sung by such talented performers was fabulous! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The following tour of the crypt was like nothing else you will ever see. But don’t skip the dinner at Piccolo Vicolo afterwards. Best meal I had while in Rome!!

It was OK. The information on the meeting point was incomplete and unclear, so we had to keep walking around and asking where to go. If you're into Capuchin monks, this is the museum for you.

Great experience however, the meeting point address from Viator was incorrect. It was a half mile away from the actual meeting point in front of the museum.

A beautiful, soothing performance to remind you that this is what Christmas is all about. Only four voices and you feel as though you are hearing a heavenly choir. Go, feel blessed, then do good works.
I’ve been to the Capuchin Crypt before, but decided to do this for the Christmas concert which was well worth it, but I wish the concert were a little longer and that they also sang some modern songs as well as those from the Baroque period. Also, the option to add dinner was nice and the food was fantastic. However, even though the meal was pre-paid, the wine wasn’t included and the wine presented to us averaged 900 Euros per bottle, which is more than a bit pricey for most.
This was a fantastic evening and the singers were absolutely amazing. The tour guides did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend this trip to others.

This tour began with a tour of the Capuchin Crypt with our very informative guide - super, but it was quite speedy and I'd have liked longer to linger both in the museum and the crypt itself (so you may want to do this again separately if it interests you) and then up to the church above for a fabulous concert. The singers sang a programme of baroque music suited for Christmas and really wowed us... to be in the ancient church, with those beautiful voices soaring was just unforgettable...
