Evite las aglomeraciones de turistas en Medellín: Comuna 4 Atrévete a ir más allá de las calles repletas de turistas y adentrarte en el corazón de la Comuna 4, un Barrio que durante décadas el gobierno no reconoció, donde ahora la autenticidad prospera y las historias locales cobran vida. Nuestro recorrido inmersivo no es solo un paseo; es una exploración íntima dirigida por un guía apasionado y un líder de la comunidad local que creció en el barrio y que llama hogar a esta vibrante comunidad. Lo que nos diferencia: • Respeto: Esto no es "turismo de pobreza", todo lo contrario, es una oportunidad para que los lugareños te muestren lo orgullosos que están de su barrio. • Experiencia: Llevamos a cabo esta experiencia desde 2016, amplificando la voz de los locales y la Transformación de Medellín. • Conocimiento: Somos guías turísticos profesionales que hemos vivido en el extranjero y no nos conformamos con explicaciones demasiado simplistas. Nuestro guía y el embajador de la comunidad lo recibirán allí y le brindarán el contexto histórico del Barrio Moravia, le explicarán sus orígenes en los años 60 como un barrio ilegal y le explicarán una versión de la "transformación de Medellín".
Visita La Resistencia de Moravia. Conozca la "otra cara de la transformación de Medellín" que es la versión de la que nadie habla y comprenda por qué cientos de familias han resistido durante más de una década el plan de reasignación trazado por el gobierno.
Una vez dentro del barrio, encontramos un lugar tranquilo para sentarnos y hablar sobre el Sistema de Salud y Bienestar de Colombia. Comprenda por qué hay tantos vendedores ambulantes y por qué si existe un sistema de bienestar social, casi la mitad de los colombianos no tienen acceso a él.
Conozca los graffitis dedicados a los equipos de fútbol más importantes de la ciudad y comprenda las implicaciones culturales detrás de este deporte en la sociedad colombiana.
Nos sentamos nuevamente y disfrutamos de la sombra de los árboles frente a la Fundación Oasis Urbano donde exploramos el sistema de Educación y Estratos en Colombia.

We had an very impressive tour in Communa 4. The tour guide gave the tour together with a local community leader and their dynamic was really good. We heard personal stories, but also learned about the history of the neighbourhood. I highly recommend this tour to anybody visiting Medellín!

If you want to do a walking tour of a communa where you do not encounter tourists like in communa 13 do this tour! You will learn a lot about Colombia and life in recent years in commune 4. Very interesting!

Toto and Gloria were incredibly generous and engaging, sharing their stories and experiences and giving an insight to life in Moravia. We were not sure about visiting comuna 13 while in Medellin and ultimately decided not to has it was repeatedly described to us as a “show” and “disneyland”. There are stories of incredible transformation and community effort all over Medellin and Colombia and this tour demonstrated that for us. If you want souvenirs, colourful murals, and dance performances, this tour is probably not for you. But if you want an insight into the communities of Medellin’s barrios and “informal” settlements then this tour will provide that.
