The guide proved extremely knowledgeable and competent, managing to convey with clarity and passion the history and details of the site. We particularly appreciated his attention in organizing the route away from the most crowded areas, allowing us to live the experience in a much more pleasant and engaging way.
DO NOT shop with HEAD OUT!. It's away from the train (there are other outlets right there). You arrive with the purchased audio guide but it turns out that the data (oh, why, nobody knows) and since they go with application, you have to buy the physical audio guide!, crazy.
I am very sorry for you but you never had a tour with me and I don’t work and get people from head out amd I don’t do tours in Spanish as well .
Headout management nefarious. They send me to a Pompeii ticket to buy a ticket and when it starts they tell me that they sent mail changing tickets. The entrances are a 20-minute walk away. 40 minute walk x error from them. Lousy management, don't buy tickets with them. Excellent guide to Askostours!

Sascha , our guide for two hours, was brilliant. He really brought the site to life and cheekily took some short cuts to avoid queues associated with the big groups being herded around. His humour was very welcome as he took us to the major highlights of Pompeii, including the newest discoveries that were absolutely jaw dropping. This tour is definitely a must for anyone visiting the area.
We’re booked on a 2 week cruise with one day where we’re in port and can visit Pompeii. We booked this tour twice and paid in advance and on both occasions the organisers then cancelled it. Not sure if closer to the day the prices go up but no reason given for cancellation. Book but check you haven’t also been cancelled.

Disastrous experience with Headout. We were late because we missed a train; our responsibility, but we called before the start time to communicate and see if there could be any solution or other alternative and no one contacted us. When we arrived, we were told that we could not enter without Guide, when we already had the tickets paid with the Tour. After half an hour, a very friendly chic from the theme park did the management and facilitated the tickets so that, at least, we could see it on our own. We felt totally abandoned and were answered the next day with a "copy and paste" of the rules. If you can, choose another operator.

Sasha was the best tour guide and told the story so you felt part of the event. He was very good at getting the whole family involved and had a great sense of humor and so knowledgeable . Our family loved getting to see Pompeii with Sasha and would recommend him and the tour to everyone!!! AMAZING!!
Andrew our guide was absolutely the best guide we have ever experienced. He made our tour the highlight of our 10 day vacation. His passion for the history of Pompeii cannot be riveted. Ask for him if you ever go to Pompeii you will not be disappointed.
