The title was Pasta and Tiramasu class in Vietro sul Mare. Marco was a great teacher and we made great ravioli but no time for the Tiramasu. There was one problem, and that was the instructions from Viator initially was to meet at a location called Vietro sul Mare. We took a bus to there from Solerno and arrived an hour early, but then hunted for the Viator person but after two hours, we were already an hour late to get to the correct site which was about 5 km along the Malfi Coast Road after contacting Marco. We eventually arrived an hour and a half late, but Marco was very accommodating.

Antonia was fantastic ! We arrived and she had mozzarella, a small pizza, ricotta, and bread. We sipped a bottle of wine as we prepared two different pastas and tiramisu. She went above and beyond and brought out orangechello and other bottle of wine. As inexperienced chefs she helped us throughout the whole experience and never judged. She taught us about Italian culture and her family in Salerno. We ate and talked an hour after our time ended and treated us like her own. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely the best experience! Sylvia is adorable and so passionate and kind! This was the best cooking class I’ve ever attended and could have spent the entire evening with her!

Magical morning spent in a tiny Italian restaurant with Marco and Amelia making ravioli and sharing our meal with them. I wish I could rate this experience higher than 5 stars. Loved it.

Silvia was an amazing host. She showered us with love and taught us step by step how to make an amazing pasta and tiramisu! This was by far our favorite experience in Italy!

This was such a fun and memorable experience! The class takes place in Sylvia’s personal home, and we truly felt like guests invited over for dinner. She was an amazing host and teacher. It’s a hands-on experience — we learned how to make tiramisu and a couple of types of pasta, which we can’t wait to recreate when we get home. She will send you the recipes afterward if you want. The meal was one of the best we’ve had during our trip to Italy. She also served a variety of delicious aperitivos, so definitely come hungry! One note: the address listed on Viator is not correct. Sylvia sent us the correct location by email the day before. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the cruise port, but we chose to take a 10-minute cab ride, which cost about €20 each way.

We had a very very good cooking experience with cesarina Silvia T. While we were in Salerno. Silvia warmly welcomed my husband and I into her home like we were her own family. We enjoyed friendly conversation over refreshments and savory bites and she shared her cooking expertise in a very approachable, thorough and informative manner with the help of her translator. The class was very hands on and it was fun to watch my husband get his hands into pasta making. After our pasta and dessert making was complete, we enjoyed our hearty meal together. It brought me back to childhood memories of spending time with family in my grandmothers kitchen. Thank you to Silvia! We are family now! I would gladly visit Silvia again and I highly recommend this cooking experience for anyone spending time in Salerno or vicinity.

We had THE best experience in this class! Carmen and her family were such wonderful gracious hosts! And the Grandma made the best wine on top of it all! We learned a lot in the class, and had such a fun time bonding with our Bridal party - a lot of whom we just met. Hands down the best experience! Thank you Carmen!!

I booked this class for me and my two daughters (13 and 15) as part of a week long trip to Salerno. Antonia helped us make two pasta dishes and a tiramisu as well as talking about the history of Italian cooking and sharing lots of her insights and experience. We then enjoyed eating the pasta and tiramisu in her wonderful apartment. A great way to feel close to the culture of the area and a very nice interlude in the week - highly recommended.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience taking this cooking class together celebrating our honeymoon. This was exactly what we were looking for and were in awe of the beauty of the home, stunning view, and the sweetest hospitality from the family. We have learned so much and everything was absolutely delicious and displayed so beautifully. Thank you so much for this lovely experience!
