Viaje cómodamente en el autobús GT por la hermosa Strada Regina, disfrutando de las vistas del lago durante el camino hasta el punto de embarque del ferry. Desde aquí, tome un ferry público a Bellagio y disfrute de 1 hora y 45 minutos de tiempo libre para almorzar y explorar la "Perla del Lago". Después de Bellagio, continúe su experiencia con un crucero privado exclusivo, pasando por villas históricas como Carlotta, Balbianello, Cassinella y Melfi. Do not take Viator from Lucerne to Lake Como unless you want just transportation. Lucerne people met up with a bus tour out of Milan in Como. We were wandering around meeting place looking for Como tour bus. Train tickets from Lucerne to Como did not arrive until we called Viator the afternoon before enquiring about status of tickets. Guide had very little to say. A disappointing experience
Dear Sir/Madam, We are sorry to receive a review like this, as it contains several inaccuracies. First of all, the tour departs from Lugano, not from Lucerne. It is our standard procedure to send the train tickets during the early afternoon of the day before the tour, together with all the necessary instructions and a map showing how to reach the meeting point. In fact, you received the message and all the relevant documents at 2:44 PM. Let us explain why we send the tickets only the day before the tour. The train tickets for this route are non-refundable, while customers are allowed to cancel their booking until the day before departure. For this reason, tickets are issued and sent only after the free cancellation period has ended. You received the tickets both by email and via WhatsApp, as per our standard procedure. This was certainly not due to any request or reminder from Viator, but simply because this is how we handle all confirmed bookings. We understand that the tour may not have met your personal expectations, and unfortunately it is impossible to satisfy every customer's preferences. The train was good and our tour guide, Marco, was going to meet us at the train station and walk us to the meeting spot. When we were 1 station away, he texted and said to meet at a different spot and meet him and the other attendees. When we arrived, we started walking to where he told us to. He texted again and said to meet at another place instead and that the tour started already. We weren't late at all! How could they start without us? So here we are, in a foreign country, not knowing the language or where anything is at. When we find Marco, we are the first ones there! We realized they didn't start early, he just did not want to pick us up at the station as indicated. When we got on the boat, there was extremely minimal talk. He pointed out 3 homes, a silver structure, a sea plane and a fisherman. Not very interesting and his delivery was monotone. When we got to Bellagio, we were on our own with not much time. I felt like we were rushed. I also feel like we should have been told everything except 3 restaurants were closed! We would have not gone on the tour. I would not recommend this tour especially during non-peak season.
