Comenzarás frente al segundo edificio administrativo más grande del mundo, el Palacio del Parlamento, que forma parte del último proyecto comunista megalómano.
Parte de la ciudad vieja fue casi demolida para dejar espacio al nuevo Bulevar de la Victoria Socialista.
Inspirado en la Ópera Garnier de París, este lugar está ligado al inicio de la democracia en Rumania pero también al inicio del movimiento comunista.
Construido durante la década de 1980, parte del bulevar de la Victoria Socialista, este hito es ahora una maravilla con sus Fuentes Danzantes.
Considerado el símbolo del antiguo régimen, este lugar quedó abandonado durante la era comunista.
Rumania fue el único país del bloque comunista que terminó en una revolución sangrienta, la mayoría de las víctimas fueron fusiladas en esta plaza.
Ahora Museo Nacional de Arte, este lugar funcionó como residencia de invierno de la familia real de Rumania, pero durante los primeros años del comunismo se convirtió en el Palacio de la República y un edificio de protocolo.
Uno de los edificios más representativos de Bucarest, lo imprimimos con orgullo en el billete de 5 lei.
El edificio principal de esta plaza era el Comité Central del Partido Comunista, desde donde Nicolae Ceausescu pronunció su último discurso ante el pueblo rumano.

We had a wonderful trip together with our guide Daniel… you could tell he is extremely passionate about the topic and answered all our questions with expertise. Daniel was a wonderful guide: passionate, funny, very knowledgeable about the past and present of his country. The tour was amazing and our guide was really really great. His name. His name is Daniel and he’s very knowledgeable about history and you can see. He has a passion for it.. he was also very gracious and helped us when we were hit by a terrible storm in the middle of the tour. He helped us cover and protect ourselves from falling trees. We had an absolutely amazing tour with Daniel and cannot recommend him enough. He was incredibly attentive to the needs of the group and always made sure everyone was engaged and enjoying the experience. What we especially loved was how interactive he made the tour. He showed us photos and videos of the historical events he talked about, which made everything so much more interesting and memorable.
