Xunantunich "doncella de la roca" cuenta con el segundo templo más alto de Belice y es rica en historia. El sitio consta de siete plazas y más de 30 estructuras que incluyen templos, edificios residenciales, canchas de pelota, un altar y una casa de vapor, todos ubicados en solo 2 acres. Esta aventura nos lleva al distrito de Cayo aproximadamente a 2 horas en auto desde la ciudad de Belice. We had an excellent day with Antwan as our guide. It was a long day, as we were picked up at our hotel by Antwan then driven to the cave tubing site, and then on to the Xunantanich ruins, and then driven all the way back to Belize City. However, Antwan made sure we were comfortable the entire time and even picked out a great place for us to eat after our adventures. We had some great conversation and had an overall awesome experience! I would definitely recommend bringing a towel for after the cave tubing (we should have realized this but just blanked it...).

Great experience! Got to see the Mayan ruins in the morning and relax floating through the caves in the afternoon. Antwon was friendly and very knowledgeable of the history and went above and beyond to give us a great tour!

This is a great tour and should not be missed. Our guide David is the best I have experienced in so many of my travels to many many different places. He goes much above and beyond to ensure we are comfortable and we are actually absorbing the history and vibe of these 2 magical places (Xunantunich and the cave).

Being able to climb the ruins and learn about the history with the tour guide was great, was not very crowded. We got to stop by the street markets and pick up some local fruits and snacks! David was a very entertaining and informative tour guide!
David was entertaining and a wealth of knowledge. His wife had the most amazing breakfast and lunch.
