El tren comienza su viaje desde la estación de tren de Colombo a las 08:30 h. El tren llegará a Ella a las 17:16 h. y la parte más pintoresca del viaje en tren es de Haputale a Hatton. Durante el viaje, el tren pasa por plantaciones de té de un verde exuberante, numerosos túneles, campos de cultivo, pueblos, varios tipos de bosques, etc.

Lakpura organised our tickets and our drive from Negombo. Everything worked like clockwork and we were at Colombo Station in plenty of time. The train ride was everything it’s cracked up to be! Relaxing, bumpy, beautiful - arrived into Ella and all its beauty 9 hours later.
