Such a great experience! Eric was a great tour guide! Very informative and engaging! Would highly recommend!
I ended up being solo on the tour, it didn't stop me and my tour guide Jason from having a good time. The tour was not rushed, very informative, and Jason was very knowledgeable on everything we spoke about. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a laid back tour. Oh and you'll get full off drinking coffee, eating chocolate, cacao fruit, and drinking sugarcane juice.
Our guy was Eric who seemed to have a lot of knowledge. But he spoke fast and it was hard to understand him with the accent, although I am a little older and a little hard of hearing. There was also a lot of background noise from other groups and cicadas. There was just an area that had a few coffee bean trees and a few cocoa trees. There was some large signs that reviewed the process of harvesting and making the products which he reviewed. We did get to sample some coffee from beans that were grown elsewhere and some chocolate that someone who worked there made. When it came to the sugarcane part, there was a larger group in front of us and you could tell the guide was frustrated with having to wait and had us join in with the other group and I feel like we really missed out on that whole part of the tour. Definitely not worth the $55 a person we paid. I do not recommend. I would go with one of the bigger tours. We planned poorly and could not get in.

A very good orientation to organic coffee and cocoa growing in Costa Rica. Hands on activities are superb! You drink a taste of coffee and sugar cane you produced on your own . A taste of a variety of chocolate is also provided. I highly recommend.
Our guide was amazing! Stevan made the whole experience fun and knowledgeable. We had a lot of fun and the tasting experience was great.
This was designed specifically for tourists. Within one hundred yards from the highway, behind a tourist shop and steak house, is a coffee shop grove, a coaco grove, and a sugar cane grove. Three simple, minimal demonstration stations and one very informative guide. While he was sometimes difficult to understand, his knowledge and willingness to share were quite good. Pleasant experience, but not worth the price.

Lovely instruction from two delightful staff. Right in La Fortuna, so an easy to access from town. Plenty of samples to try from coffee, chocolate and sugar cane. Very enjoyable.
10/10 it was amazing and Issac was the best guide. The coffee was amazing. My favorite of the chocolate was the cranberry one!
Extremely informative and entertaining tour for a small group. Our guide Jason was excellent! Super engaging and funny, was able to answer all of our questions. The samples of coffee, chocolate and sugar cane were all so delicious and really put the experience over the top. We also got to see a sloth in the trees. The trail was very accessible and not a ton of walking involved. Decent parking, though traffic in front can make it difficult to get across to the spots. There is an attendant who will stop traffic for you to pull in and out of your parking spot. Recommend having some cash on you to tip the guides and the attendant.
This is a must if you’re a coffee and chocolate lover! I had a ride pickup issue but viator was able to get in touch with the provider and the tour ride came to get me asap.
