El Chef Ejecutivo Rodrigo Cuadra ofrece un exquisito menú creado específicamente para este viaje culinario. EVERYONE from the front desk ladies, the lady at the snack counter, picture taker, server, and those we encountered boarding and exiting the train were kind, friendly and helpful. Marnie, our server was AMAZING. We had to wait on the track for about an hour due to engine issues, then the rest of the tour was cancelled. Marnie continued to keep us informed and served us our meals and beverages. She even went from table to table checking if there was something we wanted to know more about the tour. She talked about the train and the vineyards we wanted to know more about. After the engine issue the company went out of their way to provide the best customer service possible. I was so impressed with the company's commitment to quality and their customers. The view was wonderful. The food was incredible! High quality, cooked to perfection. It had to be one of the best, most delish meals I have ever had. What a perfect 40th anniversary!

It's super expensive for what you get. The extra charge for the dome is not necessary its about the same as the other cars. The train itself is older. The lunch was great and the service is fine but to pay that much and not have the wine included on a wine train is ridiculous. Plus 3 hours was boring. You see the same thing on the way back.

A wonderful experience. The food and the train ride were the best. I did expect a little more from our waiter. The waiter was in a hurry and didn’t really want to us to ask questions. But overall it was still a really good experience. Must try it once!

We paid in total $769.38 for two people and I honestly wished we would have picked just a regular wine tasting tour which would have cost at least $200 less than that where you have more food options, better views and wineries. Food was okay but not out of this world for what we paid, I also understand that wine options did not come with this option but after actually experiencing this, my husband and I are still flabbergasted how much they charge. We got a complimentary welcome drink at the beginning and the views are good on one side of the train but we were sat where we were looking at buildings mostly. You can’t get up from your seat until after a certain time during the ride and I wish they would have stopped/shown us at least one winery to explore as they do not make any stops. Their website states that you learn from a sommelier, we never saw anyone with this title while we were there, we also never visited the chefs in their gourmet kitchen and was never mentioned. This was supposed to be the highlight of our honeymoon trip but it was unfortunately so underwhelming that I was ready for it to end so we could go do our own thing. Server was nice and professional, ladies at check-in were phenomenal and so nice!

This was a great experience. My friends and I purchased the vista dome tickets. We enjoyed the meal, drinks and facts the train conductors provided along the train ride.

Went on the wine train and there many options for length n food. Since i dont drink the Vista car gourmet lunch was our best option. Wife got wine n i got soda. View was great after we cleared the town n got to the vineyards. The food was better the expected . A must, even for non wine drinkers

This was a fabulous experience from start to finish. We were greeted as we walked in the depot and were informed of what was going to happen. The staff throughout were friendly and helpful. We were attended to right away once seated on the train. The food was fantastic! It was an experience we will definitely do again.

My husband and I did the Vista Dome Lunch as an excursion while on the Journey of Jazz Cruise during our stop in San Francisco. We paid over 500 dollars for a 3 hour train ride through Napa Valley. The food and service were amazing however the price was too high for such a brief train ride that didn’t include a bottle of wine at the very least. My husband and I love trains and travelled via train is US (overnights with sleeping accommodations), Canada (Rocky Mountaineer), and Europe so we get that it’s about the experience. I almost never write negative reviews but I think it’s important for someone considering the train ride.

Claudia was the best part of our experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable and personable making us feel like part of her family. Food was amazing, drinks were good but Claudia was exceptional. The wine train was a must experience.

Beautiful scenery, amazing food, Rick was an amazing server! I would come back again just for his pleasant demeanor and smile. Living in the Bay Area it is hard to find unique day trips to celebrate the big days on a budget, this was exactly what we were looking for !
