I took a private lesson with Coach Shane and Kama. They’re the best - so encouraging and clear at teaching surf technique. The spot we surfed at wasn’t crowded at all. They were great at communicating the meeting time and location too. Highly recommend to anyone considering a surf lesson. You’ll be in great hands!

The best experience! They did an amazing job teaching us the proper technique and was patient with us when there was something we needed to change. We had a great time; it is definitely a must when you visit Oahu!!

I went with Neil and had an amazing experience.I never surfed before but he got me riding waves. And let me tell you, the moment you take a wave, its thrilling. They are dedicated to make sure you acually take a wave and standing up. If you are searching for a and deciding which surfing lesson you should take. Look no further and book this one. Coach Shane did a fantastic job coaching me and my daughter. He has a lot of experiences and is very hardworking and patient. He gave me really useful tips and got me surfing for real on the board for the first time. Went with a different surfing school a couple of days ago and could not make it work. So glad I got Coach Shane this time. Will have him again!

Shane is an amazing surf instructor! He was very patient, able to explain what I was doing wrong and how to fix it, and made sure I got the most waves possible in our hour. I managed to catch 23 waves! The spot we went too wasn't as crowded as other places near the hotels, so I didn't feel like I was in the way of others. They also had equipment that I could borrow like a rashguard and reef shoes. I would book with him every time I come back to Hawaii!

An absolutely incredible experience—my very first time surfing, and I stood up on my first wave with the instructor's help. In just over an hour, I caught ten to twelve waves. It was perfect.

My coach Darren is very skilled, patient and such a cheerleader! I had problem standing up on my surf board at the beginning, but he took time to break down each step and made me more confident about balancing myself on the board. I trusted him completely and that’s how I was able to quickly improve and was able to ride several waves in the end! The ocean is so beautiful and the view with the mountain is gorgeous. I recommend this to any adventurers and even those who never surfed before like me. It is a ton of fun and my coach and other staff are fun and very caring! I would definitely do it again when I am back to Hawaii!

Captain Neil was our instructor as was very personable, friendly and helpful. My 10 year old grandson and I took the lessons and for the first time in our lives actually got to experience surfing! Captain Neil was very encouraging and gave us tips and advice based on what he would observe us doing. He provided a life jacket for my grandson which I was very grateful for since this was only his second day experiencing the ocean and was new at swimming. But we were both super excited that we were able to experience what it was like to be riding a wave on a surfboard. One thing that I didn’t know and would recommend, is to wear a tight long sleeve shirt. I did not realize because I’ve never experienced it before how much your forearms hurt from sitting on the waxed surfboard. After two hours, they get rubbed a little raw. That’s the only thing that I would have changed if I had it to do over.
