My teen daughter and I took the 1 hour lesson and it was great. I went from thinking I was just tagging along to standing on the surfboard, riding a wave! My daughter had so much fun. The instructor walked us through the basics on land and then we went out into the water. It was fun and easy. So glad we were able to do this together. Price was very reasonable and I appreciated that it was a private lesson with just the 2 of us. Definitely recommend!!
Jake and his son were phenomenal at teaching my son (15) to surf. It was a small group. The meet up was easy, and they were off in the water after a short tutorial. Only recommendation is to wear a surf shirt because your chest will have burn marks from paddling.
Once you hit the water it is non-stop. The guides do a great job getting you ready for the waves. We did 1 and a half hours and the coaches are right next to you pushing you, wave after wave. Big shout out to Jameson.

This was a wonderful experience for my two teenage kids! Their guide, Jameson, was very helpful and thorough, and after a few minutes of footwork they headed straight to the ocean and caught a few waves! The price is also much more reasonable than other places. This was a complete private lesson for my kids other than the usual crowded beach. This was a great activity and would definitely recommend!
