Very great experience with a great team. A wonderful time learning to cook Ramen and Sushi.
Highly recommended! We had a private workshop, with personal attention from two very nice Japanese ladies.
One of the best experiences in Japan! Tomoko went Sawa did a wonderful job engaging us and making it fun and interactive! Highly recommend this cooking class for a personal experience and focus on the Japanese culture. The final result was an amazing meal!
The girls were amazing, funny and made the whole experience incredibly enjoyable. Definitely the highlight of our trip!
Excellent 3-hour class, including time to eat! Instructors are very warm, gracious and informative. They answered all kinds of questions from us and we never felt rushed. They really made cooking fun and not intimidating. Everything was fresh, delicious, comforting, and bountiful. We had so much to eat and none of it felt heavy. The space in the kitchen is compact so maybe better with a small group, but it is very efficiently laid out. The instructors took the time to get to know us too in order to help enhance our experience in the class and in visiting Japan. It’s a special group that made for an especially enjoyable experience.
My family just returned from an afternoon at the Ramen Cooking Tokyo class. My wife and daughter took the class for Ramen and Gyoza, and I took those and added the sushi part for myself. We were the only people in the class. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Tomoko-san, Risa-san, and Johnny-san (sorry if I spelled that wrong) were highly informative, light-hearted people who did an excellent job of instruction, explaining each ingredient as well as the process, and adding a bit of the history and variations on the theme of Ramen. The gyoza part of the class was also highly informative, as was the instruction on making sushi. They also talked a bit about sake and matching sake to the food. They were happy to answer questions, and were interested in where we were from and our gastronomic interests. Altogether, the instruction was very good, the conversation was lively, and the food was quite good. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in cooking Ramen, Gyoza, or making sushi for the first time. Thank you, Ramen Cooking Tokyo!
Loveley experience. Team was so ftiendly and had lots of experiene Explanations were simple and the whole process was fun.
We had such an amazing experience at this cooking class! We learned how to make ramen and nigiri from scratch, and everything was explained so clearly and made easy to follow. It was fun and educational. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Tokyo!
Tomoko and Issa were excellent sensei (teachers)! They communicated well & they were fun. I liked learning about the history of sushi. I especially enjoyed cutting my boiled egg with a $6k knife!
Great experience, simple to follow and fun interactions. Tomoko and her team were wonderful and considerate. The size of the group was small we were 6 people, but 8 could fit comfortably. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. The were on this shop for 3 hour, but I did not feel long. I think it was a pleasant experience and worth the price. Amazing!
