Our Mexican cooking class was fantastic! Nadia was tremendous to work with and she even helped us get a birthday cake for our cooking event. We thoroughly enjoyed our chefs Natalia and her sister. They were there on time and the preparation and cooking demonstration were top-notch. Our group of 6 had a great time and the food was delicious. We strongly recommend Gourmet Cabo Catering to others going to Cabo.
We joined a cooking class making fresh empanadas. The chef, Rene, explained the preparation of the ingredients: masa made with guajillo pepper adobo and a variety of fillings including pork, chicken, squash flower, and huitlacoche. We each shaped and pressed a ball of masa, chose our fillings, learned to close the empanada, and passed them on to Chef Rene to deep fry them. We were provided with toppings and some side dishes to enjoy with the empanadas we made before completing the class. Now my partner and I want to go home and make empanadas.
Hector and Ricardo were wonderful--so personable and knowledgeable! My husband, who worked as a bartender in his early 20s, said Hector's spicy margarita was one of the best he has had. My family was introduced to some new foods and really enjoyed trying the mole. 100% would recommend!
Chef Carlos and bartender Carlos were fantastic, very hospitable, and served some really good food . A fun highlight on our trip.
Such a fun and unique experience from beginning to end. The chefs were extremely personable and knowledgeable. The food was amazing and the margs were strong. What more could you want? (Chefs) Hats off to everyone involved!
We did the salsa & margarita class, and LOVED it! It was super interactive, and a fun activity for the family to do, while sipping margaritas. Our chefs were amazing and made the whole experience unforgettable. We will definitely do it again for our next visit.
I celebrated my husband’s 53th Birthday and I contacted Nadia from Gourmet Catering, it was a pleasure to work with, so attentive to details and Chef María was great with all the fresh ingredients and excellent presentation. Our bartender Luis was the best.👌

We were a family of 6. Jose and Sarah taught us (and left recipes) to make a really good mole, Mexican rice, and banana flambe. We all had different favorites! Jose and Sarah had a very relaxing style and were fun. One of our children has special needs and he was terrific with including her and noticing when a spoon would be more helpful than a fork, etc. There was plenty of left-over food. The place was sparkling clean when they left. They arrived on time and were not rushed. They brought needed cooking pans, etc. The class is mostly demonstration although there were a few things we did to help in the food preparation.
