Our family enjoyed our experience making pastas and tiramisu with Mirco. Beautiful historic palazzo and great ambiance learning from a master chef Mirco. Very well taught then sat down and enjoyed dining with our self made pastas and tiramisu. It was FANTASTICO!!
We were greeted with a glass of white wine. We toured the beautiful old Roman building and went downstairs to cook with chef Michael. We made 3 different types of pasta. Then we went back upstairs to the restaurant and chef Michael made the sauces that went with the pasta. It was delicious!
Come hungry ... great time! Went with 3 kids and all had a really good time, hosts were fantastic and kept everyone engaged.
Great location and quality of ingredients and wine, a friendly chef to learn real Tuscany food preparation
Hi, Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the location, ingredients, and the whole hands-on experience. It’s wonderful to know the chef made the class friendly and enjoyable while teaching real Tuscan food preparation. Thanks again for sharing, and we hope to welcome you back for more cooking fun soon.
A hands-on cooking class that perfectly combined fun and learning, all in a stunning palace setting. Highly recommended to all people that love pasta.
This was SO much fun!!! This is exactly the experience I want when I go to a city and country known for it's wonderful food. I will definitely be taking those recipes home and doing it myself. Italian food = the best!!!
Hi, Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear you had so much fun in the pasta and tiramisu class. There’s nothing like getting hands-on with Italian food, and it’s wonderful that you’re taking the recipes home to try yourself. We hope it brings a little taste of Florence to your kitchen until your next visit!
One of the best experiences we had in Florence. The setting is beautiful, but what really makes this class stand out is that it’s led by a real chef, not just a “local expert.” You can really feel the difference in the way everything is explained and taught. The class is hands-on, fun, and authentic. We left excited to try these recipes back home and can’t wait to cook them for friends and leave them speechless. Thank you Thomas, for being so patient with my endless questions 😅 Highly recommended!
Hi Nico, Thank you so much for this lovely review. We’re really happy to hear the class was one of the highlights of your trip. It means a lot that you noticed the difference having a real chef leading the experience makes. Thomas is fantastic and we’re glad his patience and explanations helped make the class fun and easy to follow. We love that you left excited to recreate the recipes at home—your friends are in for a real treat. 😄 Thanks again for recommending us and we hope to see you back in Florence sometime!
Under the guidance of a true local expert, we learned the art of making fresh pasta and tiramisu with techniques passed down through generations. But the real magic was the setting itself. Kneading dough under historic frescoes and dining at a grand table on centuries-old floors transported us to another era.
Hi Cristian, Thank you so much for this beautiful review. We’re really glad you enjoyed the class and that the setting added that extra bit of magic. It’s wonderful to hear you appreciated the traditional techniques and the hands-on experience. There’s something special about learning to make pasta and tiramisu in a place with so much history! We’re happy we could help create a memorable evening for you and we hope to welcome you back to Florence again soon!
What a great experience! This was an amazing cooking class in Florence and our family had the best time. In this class you get to learn how to make handmade paste in an incredibly historic and beautiful building in the middle of florence. I couldn't recommend The Tour Guy any more as this was the highlight of our trip!
