Descripción
Obtendrá instrucciones prácticas paso a paso y aprenderá técnicas de cocción de xiao long bao y dumplings que se repiten fácilmente en casa. Estoy feliz de compartir mi receta familiar con ustedes. Todas las envolturas de bao largas de xiao están hechas desde cero y la mitad de las envolturas de dumplings están hechas desde cero. También puedes optar por hacer todos los dumplings desde cero. También aprenderás cómo preparar los rellenos y cómo envolver de una manera clásica tradicional. Antes de la clase descubrirás nuestras tradiciones y cultura visitando un mercado local de alimentos frescos. Clase nocturna visitaremos un mercado nocturno en Temple Street para aprender comida callejera de HK. Vegano también es bienvenido y disponible bajo petición.

Feliz was a wonderful guide and teacher. Her communication leading up to the class was fantastic and she responded to any questions quickly. The market walk was informative and a great way to see how the locals work through the market. The class was at a good pace and while learning the 2 different dumplings we learned 3 folds. It was great to make the wrappers from scratch but also to use the store bought, just to see the difference between the 2. And when finished cooking all of the dumplings were delicious. We are glad we didn’t eat beforehand as it was more than enough for a full meal. We would highly recommend this class or any other by Feliz.
We had a wonderful experience with Feliz and booked the combo class. The market tour and cooking class was a highlight of our trip. She gave easy to understand instructions and pointers. The recipe is her family’s, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! Feliz even gave us recommendations for her favorite custard tart and temple street stands.
I loved this class! Feliz was really sweet and thaught me so well. Next to having a fun evening with delicious food I learned a new skill and learned about the produce on the market. Would definitely recommend this course!
Such a great experience! I definitely now appreciate the effort in making soup dumplings now! Loved the market walk learning about HK customs and delicacies. We especially enjoyed making “regular” dumplings and comparing fresh to pre-bought and we look forward to making these at home.
What a wonderful experience!! The night market was fabulous and Feliz was great at pointing out great shops and cultural foods and delicacies. The dumpling class was a lot of fun. There’s a lot of skill and patience involved with soup dumplings. The other dumplings we made were much easier. They were all delicious and we made way too much food but were able to take away what we had made. We are thrilled to try our new skills when we get home!
I’ve been wanting to learn how to make authentic soup dumplings for a while (cook books & vidoes only got me so far), so booked this class on a visit to Hong Kong. Feliz is a great teacher - informative & patient. The dumplings made on the day turned out very well & now I have Feliz’s tuition & tips I’ll keep practicing. Highly recommended cooking class - just the right pace to learn. Also easy to get to by MTR. Thank you Feliz!
Really great class, very informative and lots of time and ingredients to practice with. Felicity is a great teacher and very patient - very happy with what I learned and the dumplings were delicious - go hungry!
The food was so good and able to make heaps to feed everyone. The teaching was fantastic and learned heaps. The environment was very welcoming and great for the family from 8yo to 74yo. I would very much recommend this for an authentic experience.
