Clase de surf en Lima, Perú surf lessons best experience

My children started at Tubos Surf School in January 2025 thanks to a recommendation from another mom at their school, and from that moment until December they haven’t stopped learning and growing. Their coaches —Pollo, Piero, and Nicolás, with the steady support of Pablo— have done something amazing: they kept my kids motivated to show up even on the coldest days in Lima. This year, they didn’t just learn how to surf. They learned consistency, patience, discipline, how to face their fears, how to get up after every wipeout, and how to truly enjoy the thrill of a good wave. The lessons they’ve gained in and out of the water have been invaluable. Now that summer is approaching, they’re excited and counting down the days to spend their afternoons back in the ocean. We recommend Tubos 100%. It has been a truly transformative experience for them. 🌊🏄‍♂️💙

My 16-year-old had a great introductory surfing lesson, thanks to Tubos Surf School. Everything was so easy. They arranged transport for us to/from the beach. They provided wetsuit and shoes for her. Her instructor, Nico, gave great instructions and helped her getting to the right place, giving the little pushes to the board at the right time. Even though the sea had some decent swells, everything felt very safe. She had a lot of fun. It was a great experience!

I travel to Peru every 2-3 months and I always looked for a serious company with which to get good bathrooms to keep moving. With Tubos it was a success. I did a class with Chicken and we have looked for the best spot suitable to my level on the green coast. Material in very good condition and variety of boards to choose from. Inside the water, Chicken always giving good advice and improving technique. I have now returned to Peru and booked a class with them again and will continue to do so if they continue to work this well.

Excellent surf academy for all levels, with few students per instructor and personalized attention on the water.

Great surf instructors for my 8 year old son. We took 8 sessions in the tandem category only because we were visiting from the USA but my son loved it and we enjoyed watching him.

It was a really nice lesson, a lot of personal attention from michael and great tips to improve my surfing adjusted to my skill level!

No message from the instructor. No notification of cancellation. We waited… and nothing. Still no refund. Would avoid.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Showed up by myself with no previous surfing experience and no Spanish, got a good warmup and stretch in and got taught the basics outside and then straight into the water. Board and wetsuit were all provided and felt verywell looked after. Besides being the most amazing surf instructors they are also the greatest people, making sure I had a way home before leaving and when I as unable to get an uber from the beach, they drove me to their office and took a picture of the uber picking me up to make sure I was safe. Could not have asked for better people and better teachers! This was my favourite activity in Peru and something I’d definitely want to do again. Thank you ❤️

It was my first time on the board, an amazing experience. 10 points the attention from the reservation of the class to its instructors. They are constantly with you in the water and help you in everything. I would definitely choose them again. Super grateful to them 🏄🏼‍♀️🌊
