We had a delightful time with Carina and Ana. They are not only excellent cooking instructors, but we also learned a lot of local and Portuguese culture and historical information throughout our time together. We highly recommend this fun, instructional and informative Portuguese experience.
What a fun class! Ana and Carina have perfected their own secret recipe of Pastel de Nata, which you can easily make at home. They explained everything. Ana has a great sense of humor and really engaged everyone in our small group. She and Carina also provided some great local tips on places to try . Highly recommend !
Ana and carina are amazing! Friendly knowledgeable and extremely fun! I can’t wait to take what I learned and do it in the States to impress all of my friends with this delicacy! Easy to find and such great assistance with anything you need … 10 out of 10 and a must do for anyone who wants to learn and enjoy true Portuguese cuisine and culture!!
This class was so much fun. These ladies are not only knowledgeable but their personalities made the class easy and enjoyable! Not to mention they really do have the best version of this classic Portuguese pastry ❤️ I would love to book another one of their classes my next time in Lisbon.
I attended this pastry class with my mom during our trip to Lisbon. We were somewhat apprehensive as we are not frequent travellers and we are very conservative with our food/desert choices. Fortunately, our fears dissipated the moment we entered the “kitchen.” We were greeted with a warm embrace by each of the ladies, which was a nice touch. Ana and Carina; with their knowledge, humour and support created an intimate, yet relaxing atmosphere for learning. They did a phenomenal job of ensuring equal participation, as well as positive interactions among the learners. Of course, the pastel de natas we prepared were delicious! Thank you, Ana & Carina, for a memorable experience!
It was super fun! I did both courses cooking and baking and I loved them both!! It was super cozy and will definitely recommend it to everyone! The pastel de nata was delicious
