Our hostess was an excellent teacher, knowledgeable, and very personable. We learned a lot about the culture of the area through food. I highly recommend it!
The host did not show up for the class. We waited at the meeting point for 30 minutes, tried calling and texting the host several times, no answer so we requested a refund.
It was not worth the cost. The teacher was late, we did not know where to park and got a ticket, there wasn’t enough direction, the appetizers were given out with napkins or plates felt disorganized We had to ask for wine and then just bought our own bottle to share with the group. Very inattentive we finally left not sure if they ever brought coffee like advertised
We had a great time making pasta and trying wines during this experience in Lecce. Everyone was very friendly and helpful during the class and it was nice to try local wines paired with snacks. The best part was getting to share a meal with all the friends we made during the class. A great way to spend a few hours in Lecce.
Fun little class with a few other couples. Our talented chef taught us how to mix and make the raw pasta, then how to shape and form orichiette by hand. We drank along the way and ate our pasta cooked with a lovely tomato sauce and more wine. Takes 2 hours, but make sure you aren't on a tight schedule because it might start late...as they say in Italy, "Piano, piano..." (slowly, slowly).
Such a cute little wine bar with some Of the best people I have ever meet anywhere the pasta was awesome and some fabulous wine
Great experience - friendly host family, very attentive to helping us and making the event a great adventure. Full time used, plus more as we made, cooked, and ate what we made, tied in with wine tasting for local wineries and with each course.
The class was a lot of fun! Our teacher was just lovely. She was helpful and had a great sense of humor. The tasting was also fantastic and we got try some delicious wines. It was a beautiful location and just a great experience in Italy! Very memorable!
