Esta no es tu clase típica de cocina italiana. ¡Esta es una oportunidad para sumergirse en una clase de cocina privada con un hombre encantador y apasionado por la cocina italiana regional y compartir una comida auténtica con una pareja que ha estado casada por más de 30 años y sigue enamorada! Fabio vive en una colina en el campo rodeado de olivos. Fabio y Christiane (cuando ella está en casa) te reciben en su colorida casa con una refrescante bebida. Fabio explicará cómo recogen las aceitunas y cómo se hace el aceite de oliva. Luego, únase a Fabio en su cocina para una clase de cocina práctica de 2.5 horas. Aprende a hacer pasta fresca, salsa, un main y un postre. Dependiendo de la temporada, podrías ayudar a Fabio a hacer tagliatelle con ragù o calamares con hinojo y cáscara de naranja, y bacalao con puerros y repollo morado o chuleta de cerdo con almendras. Para el postre, disfrute el castagnaccio, el pastel de harina de castaño, un favorito regional o la panna cotta con coulis de fresa en el verano con una taza de café recién hecho.

We traveled to Florence with our close friends and booked a cooking class with Fabio and his wife, Christiane. They were immediately warm and welcoming. Learning to make a traditional Italian meal was full of fun and laughter. We truly appreciate their hospitality and would recommend their countryside class for any small group.
What an amazing experience. Set high on a hill outside Florence, Fabio’s home and kitchen look as though they were made for a movie. Picturesque house and surrounding yard and garden are the perfect setting for this experience. Fabio checked with us the week before to make sure we were learning things we wanted to and let us help set the menu. We selected lasagna with meat sauce and risotto and Fabio added his special apple cake. This class is hands on, making pasta and sauces from scratch. You can help prepare and cook as much as you want. I made the pasta for the lasagna and we made fresh vegetable stock to use in the risotto. What a learning experience. We are accomplished cooks, but still learned many new things. Fabio and his wife Cristiana are such gracious hosts. He opened excellent bottles of wine to enjoy with our dinner out under the pergola while witnessing a spectacular sunset. Food, conversation, wine were all delightful. I highly recommend this experience!
