My husband and I booked the cooking class with our son and his girlfriend. We all had a great time and had fun cooking a healthy meal.
What a wonderful experience! Brittney and her husband welcomed us into their home for a spectacular 3+hour experience like none other. We got to know each other while we participated in preparing an impressive meal … and we got culinary tips along the way. Brittney’s culinary skills are amazing! Our menu: Sockeye Salmon with Walnut Basil Pesto, Spinach Goat Cheese Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette, Za’atar Roasted Carrots and Chocolate Tahini Truffles with Pomegranate Molasses served with Willamette Valley Vineyards Pinot Gris from Oregon. The tastes in all were amazing!!! Put an in-home dinner with a chef from The Traveling Spoon on your “what-to-do-when-traveling” list. That’s what we did in Seattle… and will do so for future trips elsewhere. That’s because Brittney said the company has participating chefs in cities around the world! Thank you Brittney for welcoming us into your home for an experience we loved!!!
My wife, me and our two kids visited Brittney's home and cooked with her on my wife's birthday. It was a wonderful experience! All of us got to take part in the cooking process, we learned a lot from Brittney, prepared dishes we otherwise would've never got to taste, and the resulting meal was delicious. According to my wife, "I don't think if we'd gone to any restaurant in Seattle, it would've been as good as this!"
I got this class as a gift for my birthday and it was such a fun and delicious experience. Chef Brittney is such a great teacher and just a very wonderful person to talk to. She gave us some useful cooking and nutrition tips too that I know I’ll always use in my kitchen. And the food of course was absolutely delicious! I know I’ll make this dish again in the future. Thank you for making this birthday so special.
I had such a great time cooking with Brittney in her beautiful home! She was so fun to chat with and she gave me so many valuable cooking tips. Her dogs were adorable and her home had a great view! Our lunch was delicious!
Brittney was amazing host to me and my friend. She taught us Knife techniques that I didn’t learn in Culinary. I brought my old classmate that I haven’t seen since 1997. This Chef experience set a positive precedent because it helped set the stage for stronger friendship relationship.I would definitely recommend the Chef experience to anyone that is trying propose to someone, first date,or person that is not into social interaction.
Brittney is an expert chef and I was extremely happy to have been able to learn from her. Would recommend for all experience levels. Brittney also chose great ingredients and taught us how to select them ourselves. We were taught to cook halibut with an amazing chimmichurri sauce and more.
