Truly amazing! If you want to feel part of a family, a home and an experience, you should book this! The setting was quaint, the family was warm and kind and the cooking and food was excellent. It’s more than just a cooking experience!

They open their home with such warmth and make every guest feel truly welcome. I highly recommend this wonderful experience for a night in Italy that is so memorable.

The home is spectacular in a beautiful location with amazing views. The class was so much fun, drinking homemade wine making ravioli. To be in her kitchen cooking and enjoying our meal at her dining room table was the most authentic experience. Martina is so sweet and kind. This is the class you need to take. After 10 days in southern Italy and all the experiences we had, this was the family favorite by far. Thank you Martina!!!

This was one of the most authentic and memorable travel experiences I've ever booked! From the moment we were picked-up, the genuine Italian hospitality and warmth was present. I think we met nearly every family member at some point during our evening at their farm. Nonna Louisa reminded me of my own grandmother. Martini does an EXCELLENT job as the host and teaching throughout the class and kudos to her for keeping up Italian and family traditions. We got to meet Maria, the cow, to which we later made mozzarella from her fresh milk. The kitchen and dining space are something out of a magazine / postcard. The farm literally sits in the hills of Sorrento with the most amazing view of town and the water. Out of about ten activities total we booked on our Europe trip... this one was at the top of our list by far! I would come back to Sorrento again in the future just to take another class. And last, but surely not least, the food was amazing! Book this experience!!!!!

If you do nothing else in Sorrento, do THIS. This cooking class at the hilltop family enclave overlooking Sorrento and the Mediterranean was the highlight of our vacation. The atmosphere and the family allow you to step into an authentic and warm experience , complete with an amazing kitchen lined with copper pots. From the drive up to the villa ( Martina is skilled!), to Genaro’s wonderful instruction, and Nonna Louisa adding her expertise- we could not have asked for a better evening! We didn’t want to leave and will certainly be back!

There was four of us and we read the reviews to many cooking classes. This one just stuck out to me so we booked it. It was one of the best days we had in Italy. The family took us in like we were part of their family. Giovanni was the cook that day with his grandma and we laughed for hours yes we also cooked but they were just amazing people. We made pasta we make dessert we had shots of lemoncello we drank wine we laughed some more. Then the boss showed up Martina. Giovanni warned us about her, LOL actually just her driving skills. We hung out looking over the mountains with Both siblings and laughed some more . We had the time of our lives that day. From the dad picking us up to Gio and grandma teaching us how to cook to Martina doing shots with us. We loved it. Don’t miss this class just sign up and go enjoy my new family. They are the nicest people. And we learned how to make tiramisu. Just don’t soak the cookies too long Gio will not be happy.

The private cooking class was a wonderful experience, we loved it! We made two different pastas/sauces and two variations of tiramisu which we shared between the two of us. Every dish was amazing!

If an authentic Italian experience is what you’re after do not hesitate to book a class with DeA in Cucina! This was hands down the best experience my husband and I have had while traveling. Cooking with a family in their 4th generation-owned kitchen, picking lemons from their expansive hilltop orchard and then sharing the fruits of our labor over homemade wine and a view only of dreams. Martina, Gennaro and of course Nonna were warm, welcoming and treated us like family during our private cooking experience. Almost all of our ingredients were sourced right from their land and the tips and tricks to replicate this at home were so helpful. As cliche as it sounds, we left with very full bellies and even fuller hearts. Thank you for sharing your home with us DeA in Cucina!!

Do not miss this experience. The entire family are gems. They are the warmest, most amazing people. The food and house are spectacular. This is literally farm to table- and you make the dinner with Nonna’s guidance. The view can’t be beat. If you want a truly memorable Italian experience, jump on this one!!
