I’ve just come away from a wonderful afternoon, hosted by Sorya. I was picked up on time and then we when around a local food market and then on to the school. It was great that we were each able to choose what we wanted to cook from a menu with various choices. And we had a fun afternoon, learning, cooking, chatting and then eating our feast! There were only 4 of us in th class too, which I liked. I would thoroughly recommend!
The chefs made great dishes and took a lot of pictures of us! Everything tasted amazing and was very easy to make. Timing wasn’t 100% accurate but all the food (you can pick!) was so worth it.

The cooking class with Mr King Kong exceeded my expectations. The Tuk Tuk journey from the hotel was amasing itself! Kong was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. We toured the garden, and then started cooking. It was a master class, with fresh ingredients. I made the curry paste from scratch. The aroma was out of this world. I made, green mango, carrot and peanut salad, Tom Yum soup, vegetable Khmer curry and banana and tapioca dessert. I've been to many Asian restaurants around the world, but this was some of the best food I have ever tasted. Alsi so filling! Come to this class with an empty stomach! One of the best authentic experiences. Just off to the local market with Kong to learn about locally sourced foods.
We had an amazing time cooking with King Kong and Sorya. Make sure you come hungry as you make a lot of food It was great to visit a local market too🙂 can’t wait to go home and try out the recipes back in Australia 🙂🙂
The course was wonderful! The team were super friendly and the food was fantastic. We went for a walk through the market and learned a lot of local information. Highly recommend coming, fantastic value and atmosphere.
