We did this pasta and gelato making class at the start of our family holiday and it was a perfect way to get into the Tuscan spirit! Ariela is a great teacher and very knowledgeable about Italian cuisine and produce. She also took great care even before the class, sending directions and checking about allergies. We made two types of pasta (tagliatelle and ravioli) and a gorgeous lemony gelato. We got to eat everything at the end (including seconds for some of us!) and left feeling satisfied not only from the food but from the whole experience! The class was fun and informative and would highly recommend.
Super great experience, delicious food, and a great teacher! I would recommend this course to everyone.
Very nice and educational experience. Highly recommended. Our hostess Ariela was great. She radiates passion for Italian food, is very friendly and humorous. We really enjoyed this workshop.
We had such an amazing time making pasta and melatonin. Delicious. Ariela was such a wonderful host. This is a must for your trip to tuscany and creates such fun memories.
We had a fantastic time making pasta and gelato! The class was really hands-on, engaging and so much fun from start to finish. There was plenty of space to work, and everything was explained really well, so it never felt too difficult or rushed. The pasta and gelato were both delicious, but what we especially loved was how the class showed us just how easy it can actually be to make them ourselves. We left feeling like these are things we could realistically make at home and incorporate into everyday life without it feeling like a huge effort or chore. Such a fun experience and easily one of the best cooking classes I’ve ever done. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Lucca!
My husband, friends, and i thoroughly enjoyed this cooking class led by Ariela! She was so friendly and gave us a bit of a lesson on Italian food culture and its history while we cooked and enjoyed the fruit of our efforts! She did a wonderful job explaining the process to us and giving us directives while keeping it fun. She even took pictures for us and promptly sent them to us the same day. I’d definitely recommend this class!
Ariela was excellent at providing an engaging and fun experience. We all had such an incredible time, learnt new things and even said it was one of the highlights of our whole Italy experience so far. Would highly recommend.
Very nice family experience! Our chef was very attentive and treated us to a feast!
We had a great time with Ariela, who took us through the inns and outs of cooking pasta (2 different ones) and making gelato. Ariela explained everything very clear and taking her time (the italian way) with a good portion of fun. Explaining everything whilst adjusting her glasses continously (one of the legs of her glasses broke loose just before we arrived) added a little 'funny' hand-cap for her but she stood here ground! Finally we had a magnificent Tagliatelli with cherry tomato, onion and oregano, and a lovely Ricotta and Pecorino Ravioli with Butter and Sage. The Gelato with apricots afterwards was stunningly delicious. It was a lovely session to cook with Ariela and we enjoyed every minute of it. An experience not to forget and we can recommend this warmly to all who like to know everything about cooking pasta but were, up until now, afraid to ask. Next, when we are around, we will make sure to book some advanced classes with Ariela. many thnx Ariela for a lovely time. Warm regards Froukje, Marjolein and Rob
It was amazing! Ariela made a nice mix of knowledge and practicality. Time flew and we made delicious pasta and gelato.
