This was such a great day, we had so much fun!!! Last time we did this tour was 10 years ago! Lunch was amazing, all the shops we went to were great. The tequila tasting was fun and the church of Lady Guadalupe was beautiful!
We had an amazing time on this Puerto Vallarta city tour! We loved visiting the Malecón boardwalk, the beautiful church, the jewelry and leather shops, and the candy store. The local market was a great surprise—we were staying nearby and didn’t even know it was there, so we will go back later in our trip. The food was delicious, and the tequila tasting was excellent. The coffee liqueur and añejo tequila were so good that we had to buy both! José was an outstanding tour guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun. If you’re visiting Puerto Vallarta, a tour with José is a must. Highly recommend!
Inexpensive tour but stops at pricey shops. There was confusion about where we would be picked up. The driver did an excellent job.
Fun tour! Miguel did a great job as a tour guide!
Learned a lot about the history of Puerto Vallarta and shipping stops were a lot of fun! Our tour guide was amazing, especially since the A/C in our van wasn't working. He arranged to get us another vehicle while we were still on Old town of PV. Made for the ride up into the Sierra Madres much more tolerable
A bit of walking but not too much. Guide and driver were very good. Lunch not included, very expensive, not great and ended up being just before departure to hotels. Suggest declining lunch unless famished. They stop at tourist businesses they’re obviously associated with, but you’re not obligated to purchase anything although I bought silver jewelry, probably not a bargain.
You should make sure you eat before you go because lunch is very late. This was a lot of fun, though.
We bought 2 other tours and this one was free. We did have a nice day. The guide was very knowledgeable and seemed passionate about the area. Yes, it is true there is very little time to explore the Old Town of PV but we did get some nice pictures of the Malecon and we visited one church. We did go to a leather shop, an opal jewellery store and a beading store that makes ornaments. They offer use of washrooms and free drinks. The restaurant is pricy and not included in the price. The tequila tasting was fun and the host was really funny. We got to taste 7 different tequilas.
This was a great city tour which took us to downtown sights, church, high end shopping, and a wonderful remote lunch destination with excellent seafood. Gilberto was an excellent and engaging tour guide. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend very nice day 8 h in total it was just perfect visit to the mountains and the city time to dine and go shopping
