Maridaje de Chocolate y Vino en Chantilly

Wow - what a fun experience. Once you taste their chocolate you will never want "store-bought" again. Natasha was an excellent guide and it was so interesting to taste the nuances of the chocolate with and without the wine. We loved learning about the company, their values, and the chocolate making process. Take family and friends to one of the tastings - you will definitely be delighted.

This was a terrific way to spend an afternoon! Natasha was knowledgeable, engaging, and a lot of fun as she guided us through 5 types of chocolate and 3 varieties of wine. I'm a big chocolate fan, but don't think I've ever really taken the time to savor and enjoy the developing flavors like we did during our experience. I brought home a bottle of my favorite wine AND some of my favorite chocolate to enjoy on my own!

We are a group of Falls Church High School alumni and we are always looking for something fun to do together. I found River-Sea Chocolate Factory on Trip Advisor and we were all happy that I did! We attended the Chocolate and Wine Pairing (or rather "tasting") class and it was GREAT! We had fun. We learned a lot and we truly enjoyed our "teacher", Melissa. Of course we also enjoyed tasting the wines and fabulous chocolates! Thank you for the experience RIVER-SEA CHOCOLATE FACTORY! We will be back for more:)

We had such a wonderful time. Our tour guide was extremely informative, funny, and took the time to answer all of our questions. My family and I highly recommend this tour! We all agreed this was the best tour we have ever taken.

Dave hosted my family for a wonderful wine and chocolate tasting. I loved hearing about the history behind the business. They clearly have an intense passion for their profession. If you love chocolate, you will love sampling their creations! The chocolates taste amazing. This is a great idea for a fun experience that is a bit out of the ordinary. I highly recommend it!

Had a lovely time tasting chocolate and wine! Our tasting guides were knowledgeable and fun, and GOSH was the chocolate delicious. I was surprised to find I liked chocolate with olive oil in it, and was not surprised to find I liked the chocolate with rum in it! The wine pairings were perfect too. Ended up buying a chocolate bar with rosemary and narrowly, never thought to combine those before. I am terrible with names so unfortunately I can't remember the names of our guides, I want to say Melissa and John but I might be wrong. They were so nice! My friend brought her baby in and everyone was very sweet to her and accommodating. I'm from out of state but will return if I can!

What a great experience. Hiding in a collection of multiuse buildings the shop is remarkable. Our host Dave appreciates questions and will happily discuss chocolate from Cocoa trees and beans from around the world, to the levels of processing Dark to white chocolate. He loves sharing the details, the demonstration beans to product was great fun. The offerings of the artisanal candies are worth every penny. They are exquisite in flavor and design, pick what appeals to you, you will be rewarded. If you are looking for something to do when friends from out of town are visiting, include River Sea Chocolate!

It was a lot of fun to learn about the wine and chocolates. The wines were a bit sweet, but still fun time. The tour guide was personable and knowledgeable, we learned a lot about making unique chocolates.

Dave was an excellent host, and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We learned so much about the chocolate-making process at River Sea Chocolates, and the product tasted so delicious. The wine pairings were also well chosen, carefully explained, and really brought out new flavors in the chocolate. Our minds and palettes were both blown (in a good way). I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is a lover of chocolate and wine!
