El hotel recoge el comercio alrededor de las 07:00 a.m., los huéspedes son transportados por carretera desde Livingstone durante aproximadamente 1 hora en automóvil hasta Kazungula, una parada fronteriza, donde deberá realizar los trámites de pasaporte para los lados de Zambia y Botswana justo después de cruzar el puente Kazungula recién construido. El guía del lado de Botswana lo estará esperando, una vez que lo conocimos, conduzca hasta nuestra oficina de Botswana, donde tendrá una breve sesión informativa sobre la actividad. Después de informar, los guías decidirán si comenzar con un safari, almuerzo y luego un crucero por el río o al revés. Animales disponibles en el parque Perro pintado africano, ñu azul, búfalo del Cabo, algalia, cocodrilo, jirafa, hipopótamo, hiena, leopardo, león, puku (un tipo de antílope, evaluado casi amenazado), elefante de sabana, tseessebe, cebra y mucho más.

El viaje del día comienza desde Livingstone, donde los huéspedes son transportados por carretera al Parque Nacional Chobe en Kasane Botswana.
Un paquete de Chobe Safari de día completo que comprende un crucero por el río Chobe y un Game Drive en el mundialmente famoso Parque Nacional de Chobe. El Parque Nacional Chobe en Botswana es el hogar de una de las mayores concentraciones de caza en África. Cherish did a phenomenal job of arranging, planning, and ensuring the day went well. I really enjoyed all of the various guides, from drivers to rangers to the boat captain. They were all informative, professional, and highly insightful. I also appreciated that the guides help you at the border (if you need to cross for Chobe), so that it was a stress-free process. We took several tours during our stay in Livingstone, Zambia and this was one of our top if not the top favorite. Both our pickup driver and tour driver were incredibly kind, informative and friendly. On our water and land tour we saw so much wildlife and we didnt once feel rushed to move along. We were able to take many photos and learn about the animals. This was a top experience for us and one we still talk about today. I cant remember the tour guides name but he was great and so was our shuttle driver Juan Guillerjuan (sp). Highly recommend.
We booked all our activities through Cherish Travel for our holiday in Zambia, August 2025 which included a trip to Chobe, fishing on the Zambezi, steam train, devils pool, horse riding and Mukuni boma. It was an excellent experience! Our guide Mwangelwa, whom we affectionately nicknamed Miguel, was an excellent professional throughout the journey. Inside the part you can see a large number of animals, and having the experience of safari with the boat allows you to see even more animals in their respective habitats. I super recommend this tour!

Great trip! Our guides were helpful. We saw so many animals, and had close up encounters with many. Both the boat tour and the game drive were exciting, and lunch was good as well. Be aware that if you don't bring water with you, you will have to pay for your beverages at lunch.

Disappointing. Three hours travel from hotel pick up to the lodge in Chobe! Very large group so always waiting around for everyone to arrive. Staff were nice but seriously, 11 hour tour of which 6 was transport and immigration. We should have insisted on booking a more private/intimate tour.
