Chris is a great tour guide, the tour is awesome
Chris absolutely made this tour! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and a fantastic storyteller who brought Chicago’s history, gangsters and ghost stories to life. He was definitely the highlight of the experience and made the tour both entertaining and fascinating. The history and stories throughout the tour were great and we learned a lot about Chicago that we never would have known otherwise. The only thing we would have enjoyed was getting to actually go inside some of the locations rather than seeing most of them from the outside. That said, Chris’s personality, knowledge and storytelling really made the experience. He kept the tour interesting and fun from beginning to end. If you take this tour, ask for Chris if you can, he’s worth it!

My family and I are here for a convention. It was cool to walk though this beautiful city and to hear the history of things that occurred. Was even more fascinating that the Palmer house was included as we are staying here.
Max was a wonderful guide on the Gangsters and Ghosts walking tour. He recounted events throughout the tour in a way that showed his interest in the topics and held the group’s attention.

Details of events shared were inaccurate. Tanner was very engaging and great story teller; needs to convey facts. I.e. Capone did not kill big Jim, they hired a hitman out of NY to come in and do the job. Also, 844 died on the western electric vacation on the Chicago river, not thousands.
