Tour Highlights: The Long Neck Hill Tribe and the White Temple

It was definitely a very long day. There was much to see and there was ALOT of driving. That said, the sites we saw were amazing. Hot springs where the local women boil their eggs in handmade baskets. The Long Neck Hill Tribe with beautiful women and equally beautiful textiles. And, of course, the White Temple--talk about memorable. We also had a nice lunch. Oh yeah, and we took a boat ride into the Golden Triangle where the rivers of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand converge. Once the center of the opium trade, now the center of outstanding coffee. Some of the best I've every had. As interesting as the history of this destination is, I could have done without the riverboat ride. Not much to see along the shores. Cutting this out would have helped cut down on the overall length of the tour. Overall, I felt rushed with limited time at each destination.

A little sad.

This place gathers several mountainous tribes in one place and no longer burns mountains so that they don't live in the mountains as Hong Kongers. Many tribes are thought to be at peace. Looking at a long-neck Karen woman, she should be born very well. There are many standards of beauty, but I don't think it's too harsh.

Tourist trap!

It was a very very very long day going from one tourist trap to another. This day takes about 15 hours and you spend about 10 of this in a minivan. When you stop they drop you off in every possible market where you can buy all the usual stuff you can buy everywhere. There is nothing authentic about anything during this day. The Longneck tribe was the most ridiculous tourist trap I have ever seen. Sitting in there shops waiting for you to buy stuff...

Dear Mark Good Morning ! We have taken our 3 day time to do a thorough investigation on this tours, We found your allegation is your opinion only with no facts just you're imagination how you have perceived this tours in your good mind without reading description and inclusions before going for this tours. However this gives us an opportunity to look back at our strategy and product. We promote multiple hill tribes, local places and different tourist spot in this tours, Most of our tourist appreciate our tours as we give them many activities because they have really done so much to come and see Chiangmai, we want him to see this. If you are really looking for something very private, i will not recommend you to do a join tours of 10 persons. We totally support local community also we promote local products when you reach to the attractions place, we have got no intentions to earn commission from road side vendors selling 1 USD product. Also every time our traveller request us to give some time to see what unique local product is selling on road side ! this is called experience. please understand the meaning of trap when you write ?, A trap when you have been cheated ?, have you paid for tours and you have not visited ?, have you been forced to buy something ?, have you been insulted or not taken care ? Long Neck tribes is an ancient tribe village and people are protecting them, Respect them as they put his/her life to get long neck and this tribes is very limited so you might not expect the full town of long neck people. our small contribution of entrance ticket help them to find food and shelters, how you should describe it as TRAP?, do you feel shame for it ? Absolutely this is an experience where people got a chance to see them how a long neck will look like, this is an absolute insult to tell them trap ?, I will request you to consider using your good skills of writing in construction of better world as an independent traveller when you are writing in community platform, do not insult yourself ! Please help people to better explain the experience you have ! we have given your total experience, you have seen all the places mentioned in itinerary and please note it was a full day tours ! Overall this tours is full day tour..with multiple activity and we highly recommend our tours to visit, we also re confirm that this tours has been visited by 100's of other traveller every day, just it may not be suitable for you. Once again we would like to recommend you to visit some other tours of us and take private tours, and thanks a lot for giving us an opportunity to serve us and we really apologies that you did not like our tours.
