El Parque Nacional Charyn Canyon es el espectáculo natural más famoso de Kazajstán. Visitaremos su parte muy conocida entre los turistas llamada Valle de los Castillos por su forma extraordinaria. Dentro del recorrido, observará las vistas “marcianas” del Cañón Charyn. Al Castle Valley también se le llama “hermano pequeño” del Gran Cañón de Colorado por su parecido, aunque es mucho más pequeño. De camino al Cañón Charyn visitaremos el mercado callejero en el pueblo de Baiseiyt.

El "Valle de los Castillos" del Cañón Charyn tiene más de 150 km y su edad es de unos 12 millones de años, según las estimaciones más conservadoras de los científicos. En la antigüedad, el desfiladero único era el fondo del lago Ili, al que ahora nos recuerda el río Charyn, que atraviesa el cañón. No es inferior al Gran Cañón de Estados Unidos, ya que aquí hay acantilados escarpados de 150 a 300 m de altura y 200 m de profundidad. Durante la temporada, sus aguas turbulentas forman una poderosa corriente que pone en peligro la vida incluso de los nadadores experimentados.

If the travel agency doesn’t send a pickup time, call them. I waited 2 hours then called. They’d forgotten. Trip itself was very good as was guide. We got back an hour later then I’d wanted due to late start.
Long time was planning to visit Charyn Canyon. This time we were lucky to go, since our guide was Aidyn. He has strong SUV Lexus 470. And Aidyn himself the very knowledgeable guide with a lot of joy travelling to.
Aydin is a super guide. knows a lot, positive. and also sings beautifully and plays Kazakh musical instruments

Despite a little misunderstanding regarding the date, the tour guide managed to quickly adapt to the situation and find a solution to our convenience. We visited the Canyon, the Moon Canyon and another lake within a single day, and it was amazing ! Not only were the places wonderful, but the drive itself to these places was very pleasant and peaceful. Our tour guide was careful, interesting, and answered our many questions.
