This was a fun activity to do. Just do some research because most of the places was closed when we started but you don't have to go in everything you need to do you will find on the outside of the buildings.
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 We're thrilled you had fun exploring Charleston! That's a great tip for future players — most of the activity takes place outside the buildings, so there's no need to go inside. We'll look into making this even clearer in our instructions so everyone knows what to expect from the start. Hope to see you in another city soon! 🗺️
Very fun but prepared for lots of walking. Figuring out the answers at each stop was very fun! The kids made it about half way through.
We couldn't figure out how to do this. My trip had many problems, including my phone dying and neve coming back on. I was very stressed out and never could figure this out.
Thank you for your feedback and we're truly sorry to hear you had such a stressful experience during your trip to Charleston. A phone dying mid-activity is incredibly frustrating and we completely understand how that would make everything feel overwhelming. Our activity is designed to be simple and fun — but we know that when things go wrong on a trip, even simple things become difficult. We are available 24/7 at worldcitytrail.com/chat and would have been happy to help you get started or find a solution immediately. We hope your trip improved after this and we'd love to give you another chance to enjoy the experience when the timing is better. Please reach out to us directly and we'll make it right for you. 🗺️
What a great scavenger hunt day in Charleston! My friends and I enjoyed the mini history lessons, deciphering the clues on the stops throughout the hunt, and the walking exercise! We can’t thank you enough!
I wouldn’t recommend this for a solo traveler. It’s definitely better to do with at least one other person. It would have been great if it would have had the option to listen to the Charleston facts instead of reading them. A lot of time wasted standing around reading when audio commentary could have kept me entertained while I walked from one location to the next.
