Great guide- very knowledgeable as well as entertaining. Interesting group of travelers. Very worthwhile
Cesky Krumlov is a beautiful place and absolutely worth visiting. Feels untouched for 400 plus years. Maya and Hanza were great. Got there and back timely and learned a lot in between. Highly recommend
Nicely planned and the driver Honza was excellent. So was the guide , Honza. Beautiful yown Knowledgeable local guide in the city
I'm glad we made this trip, even though it was a full day as it provided scenery outside of downtown historic Prague. The van that picked us up was punctual, driver friendly and the vans were nice/cofortable with a stop mid-way to use restrooms. Our guide was informative especially about what life it like in the Czeck Republic at present and it was apparent he had changed up the tour based on feedback from previous customers. I would have enjoyed a little more detail on the history of the area and would have liked it if going into some part of the castle was part of the tour (if I recall the option was to either look around town and have lunch, or pay to tour the castle). Our guide, Andre, gave us good recommendations for both shopping and dining. The shopping is a bit limited and geared for tourists.
Since I have traveled so much in Europe, I didn’t find this tour of special interest. However, for those who haven’t visited castles and small villages, this tour would be worth it. The town didn’t have any unique shops and the restaurants were for tourists except for the one our guide recommended down a side alley. That home cooked pork chop meal was a highlight. Prepare yourself for a two- hour one way ride and then back to Prague.
1.5 hour drive from Prague. Good historical comentary from our guide. Plenty of free time to explore on your own.
It is a fairytale town with a lot of history. A must see. Our guide Andrei was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting.
Cesky Kromlov is truly a page from your fairytale storybook. Wandering along the cobblestone roads flanked by pretty coloured houses, where the river meanders through the town exudes a sense of tranquility. Wished we had more time to explore and enjoy its beauty. Thanks to Maya for getting us to and fro safely and to our guide Ondrez for his candid narrations!
This guide does not respond to attempts from Viator to communicate about this reservation. I was charged for it after I had called them immediately after I made the reservation to let them know that I had made the reservation on the wrong date when I wouldn’t yet b ed in the Czech Republic. I called 3 days in a row and was told each day that the guide had been notified and had not responded. After 3 days of calls, I was notified that I would not be refunded and the date could not be changed. I just wanted to change the date. I was charged for 2 people and we could never go on this day and communicated that immediately. This guide communicates poorly with the company.
Our tour guide Honza and driver were great. The driver was onTime and communications clear on pickup. Our guide was excellent. His Czech knowledge was amazingly detailed and kept us engaged. He gave us opportunities to rest while he gave further explanations to the historical information. We had plenty of time to have lunch in one of his recommended restaurants and visit the town before heading back to our hotel.
