Cernobbio : Show Cooking & Dining at a Local’s Home

Our private cooking class with Debora and Maddy on Lake Como was one of the most personal experiences of our trip. We came for our anniversary and left feeling like we’d spent the afternoon with friends. This is not a staged class in a rented loft. It’s a real home, real hands in the dough, and two women who clearly love feeding people. They guided us through the recipes at a pace that never felt rushed, explained the “why” behind the steps, and made room for conversation. The food we cooked together was simple in the best way — the kind you want to make again when you get home. What stayed with us wasn’t only the meal. It was the welcome. What a wonderful, fun evening. Not only did we learn a great deal about Italian cuisine, but also was made to feel like family. Debora was well prepared and dinner was in a beautiful home with a magnificent view. Of course, dinner was fabulous. If I come back to Como, this is the first event I would book! Bon Appetit!!!
