I would give them 10 stars. We did three tours with this company. Each was once in a lifetime and so authentic. Not one was touristy. Go to an authentic cheese farm. Go truffle hunting. Make pasta. And drink much great wine! Gabriele was our guide and he was so wonderful!
This was a wonderful experience! Our driver/translator picked us up from our hotel in a private car, took us to location and translated our truffle hunter for us. We found several truffles and took them to the little family winery where we had a great lunch and wine tasting. All 4 of us had a great time and loved the experience.
Nice truffle hunting experience with dogs in the forest. Nice lunch at farm house based on the truffles and local wine testing. Atmosphere was as superior.
What an amazing day! It started with truffle hunting with Roberto and his two dogs - Ori and Chloe! We learned a lot about truffle hunting and how the dogs are trained. Chloe was 'in training' and it was fun to see how Roberto used both dogs. They found about 12 truffles in all of various sizes! Then we headed to a small family winery where we ate the fruits of our labor!!! We had a 4 course 'absolutely delicious' meal, tasted a lot of great wines, in addition to olive oil and honey! We even bought a bottle of wine to take with us and watched Sylvia add the DOCG label by hand (which are closely tracked by the region)! We had a great tour guide, Paelo, with us the entire day! He picked us us at our farmhouse, was our translator when needed, was very courteous and informative! I would highly recommend this very unique experience! And I would recommend Tuscany Private Tours. They were very easy to communicate with and very responsive!

We had the pleasure of using Tuscany private tour company for two different days during our vacation in Tuscany. Let me first start by saying that the tour guides are very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the area, history & various activities. Our group size consisted of 11 people and Martina, our tour guide definitely had her work cut out for her (we are a large/loud group). We booked two different tours for two separate days, but our week started with the Wine tour & village excursion. We visited 2 beautiful local villages including Radda in Chianti as well as Castellina. We had a tasting and a beautiful lunch at the Castello Monterinaldi winery. It was a scenic location and Martina educated our group on the entire wine & olive oil making process, which was very interesting. The second excursion day consisted of Truffle Hunting and another wine tasting at a private organic farm, which was both charming and delicious. The truffle hunt was an amazing experience, starting from when Martina & the additional tour guide Jada picked us up from our villa in old school Land Rovers and took us a little off roading along the way. Overall, I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Tuscany Private Tours. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone visiting the area or looking for activities that are off the beaten path of the typical city life in Italy. Not to mention, Martina went above and beyond her tour guide role throughout the day, also assisting us in tracking down our lost luggage from the airport, acting as a translator for us from Italian to English.
Hello, Thank you for your useful and positive feedback! Happy to hear you enjoyed your experiences with us. Best wishes, Tuscany Private Tour staff
