El lado argentino de las Cataratas del Iguazú, ubicado cerca de Puerto Iguazú, ofrece una experiencia cercana de la densa selva del Parque Nacional del Iguazú. Recorrerás los Circuitos Inferiores y Superiores, viendo cascadas como la Garganta del Diablo, sintiendo la niebla y escuchando el rugido del agua. We got lucky to have William from Iguassu Way Tur, who speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese with ease. He was very patience with our group, gave us lots of time to take it all in. Our speed boat was a bit expensive but totally worth it, prepare to get wet. And do ask for the memorabke sunset experience too. Absolutely recommends William 55 (45) 99905 1030.
Traveling with a guide saves so much time and energy, being driven to exactly where you need to be, being told what's well worth doing/seeing, going to the front of all lines, etc. Our guide, Fernando, was half of a local brother team (Iguassu Way Tur) who know this area completely. He was always pro-active and exactly where he was supposed to be to escort us onward. He arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport Friday night, drive us to our hotel, and then pick us up in Saturday morning for an all-day both-sides Iquazu Falls adventure....then an airport drop-off. So, this adventure can indeed be done in a one night, one full day trip from Buenos Aires. This tour was clear that Park entry fees were not included. Our Brazil visa was not inspected, but is necessary to enter Brazil. If you try to do this and fly with Jet Smart Airlines, know that you can't check in, get a boarding pass, get a flight number, and move past Security until about 2 hours before your departure. The Falls are spectacular, and it's well worth visiting both sides. Know that if you take the boat on the Brazil side, after seeing the Falls, the highlight is parking under a waterfall so everybody gets totally soaked. I greatly appreciate Viator small group tours with local guides!
We had an amazing experience in the Falls, and much of it is due to our guide. He was very attentive, professional and demonstrated great knowledge of the place, explaining everything with clarity and patience. Drived all the way safely, always worrying about the well-being of the group and leaving the ride light and pleasant. It definitely made all the difference in our visit. I highly recommend!
Great guy who made the experience fun enjoyable, he even provided ponchos for us to wear for the boat trip, he made sure he kept to good timings to give us a great experience and ensure we made our return flight.
