We had what ended up being a private tasting on 7/29 in the evening and it was really great! Our host was so lovely, she made the 3 of us- my 22 and 20 year old step kids and I- feel like we knew about wines by the end of our time and catered the tasting to our preferences! We left with a few bottles of wine and an appreciation for local wines and some to look out for on our next stop in Amalfi!

This is an exceptional experience. The stage is set in a wonderfully intimate wine cellar, decorated with antiques handpicked by the owner, nestled underneath a cozy boutique hotel, in the beautifully authentic neighborhood of Trastevere. Your host guides you through a selection of wines specifically designed for your pallet and level of expertise. Ours included a Merlot from Bomarzo, Lazio, a Tizzo Nero from Orvieto, Umbria and a Brunello di Montalcino. All were excellent. Sip, talk about the wine and it’s origins, philosophy or any aspect of Italian culture. This experience is a perfect mix of fun and knowledge. Relax, smile, laugh and learn. You are in the beautiful Eternal City of Rome enjoying wine :)

A must-do for wine lovers visiting Rome If you enjoy wine, this is a fantastic experience to add to your itinerary. The selection was diverse and showcased different Italian regions and styles very well. The guide made the whole session interactive and enjoyable, encouraging discussion and questions. Well organized and thoughtfully curated Everything about this experience felt carefully curated, from the choice of wines to the way the tasting was structured. The explanations were clear and interesting, and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The atmosphere was relaxed but still professional. Great introduction to Italian wines I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to explore Italian wines in a simple yet professional way. You learn a lot without it feeling too technical. Excellent value for money and very well organized. One of the best activities I did in Rome!

Firstly, I acknowledge we were 10 mins late. Not the best start, but we apologised. This was not a wine tasting. Server knew about wines, gave us a little context, but was not encouraged to do more than pour us our wine and leave us to drink it alone. Paid €40 each roughly for 3 tasting glasses and a processo. Not good value at all. I am sure this venue has good wines, but don't do a 'tasting'.
