Itinerario
El viaje comenzará con la recogida en su hotel en Zagreb y se dirigirá hacia el norte. Después de un agradable viaje por la hermosa campiña llegaremos a Trakoscan, el castillo croata más famoso y mejor conservado. El castillo se construyó por primera vez a finales del siglo XIII o principios del XIV como una pequeña fortaleza defensiva. El complejo de Trakošćan que tenemos hoy, una sinergia romántica de arquitectura y naturaleza, es el resultado del siglo XIX. El castillo fue reconstruido en estilo neogótico y el paisaje circundante, incluido un lago, surgió según el modelo de un parque inglés. Verá una valiosa colección de pinturas, muebles y armas y disfrutará paseando por los pintorescos alrededores del castillo.
Después del castillo, explorará la tradición centenaria de viticultura y elaboración de vino en ''Vuglec Breg''. Una visita a la bodega es una experiencia especial para cada huésped y el disfrute de la cata de vinos traerá una sonrisa de deleite a los labios de cada entusiasta del vino. Después de la cata de vinos podrá almorzar en un restaurante tradicional que sirve productos caseros y de temporada de la región de Zagorje (el almuerzo es opcional).

We had a really great day with Tom. Was about an hour drive to the Castle and he pointed out many sights along the way. The castle was an amazing sight to see. After this we traveled to a fabulous winery where we had a light lunch, cheese tray and wonderful wines. The home made bread with pumpkin oil was sooooo good. I highly recommend this tour with Tom.
Our guide/driver Luca was very personable. Trakascan Castle had an interactive AI that was fun and our wine tasting at Vuglic Breg was excellent!!!!
Tomas was a wonderful guide, and made arrangements for a tour of the wine cellar. Wonderful experience!

We had a marvelous day with Tomislav, he was on time to pick us up from the hotel. Very knowledgeable about the sights and such a great person to be with all day. We felt like we made a new friend in Croatia. He even helped us with dinner suggestions and reservations for that evening. We will always remember him as a friend in Croatia not just a guide.

First of all our driver, Tom was punctual and spoke great English! Trakošćan Castle is beautiful and ticket is included in the price. Also the wine tasting is awesome, if you're into this type of entertainment! My negative experience was with the second castle. It is pretty and has a lot of history but it is owned by a mean rich beggar. Imagine Ebenezer Scrooge -in female form. She is so rich, she owns a castle and things that cost hundreds of thousands -if not millions- and plays it poor. If you are weak, you will end up paying her for her lies. And you will also be encouraged by the driver to give her money (that is not TAXED as she gives no receipt for donations!!!) - which makes the entire experience worse. I would advise the agency to keep the Trakošćan and wine tasting experience and avoid the tourist scam lady.

We agree the owner of the second castle is a special lady but the castle is included in the itinerary as we consider it worth visiting for its history and personalized experience. Our guide points out that the agency makes a donation for every visit and your donation is completely up to you. We are sorry you weren't completely satisfied with the tour and we appreciate you sharing your experience. To avoid any other of our guests feeling the way you did, we've changed the itinerary a bit and included another beautiful castle instead.
We had a fantastic experience on this tour! The castles were beautiful and interesting. The wine tasting and visit to the vineyard was fun and we thought the value for the experience was top notch. Tomislav was a friendly and knowledgable driver; we had a great time with him!
