Castillo de Bran (Drácula), santuario de osos, fortaleza de Rasnov y destilería de Palinca

Descripción

I very rarely write a review however this trip to Romania was exceptional. Why???? Our tour guides in country were first class I cannot recommend Vlad and his colleagues highly enough. If you intend on visiting this part of Romania, you must use Vlad as your tour guide.. contact before the trip was excellent. Vlad helps arrange transfers to And from Bucharest and explained the tours and how the days were going to work in great detail allowing us to plan appropriately.. the level of knowledge that Vlad and his colleagues have went on these tours is quite astounding and only enhances the experience. I would recommend the walking tour of Brasov. Brahms castle is a must however you need Vlad to help set the scene and be careful. He will test you to see if you are listening.😁. The bear Sanctuary And going to see the bears in the world is an amazing experience and again Vlad is the key to this experience.. Simply put if you intend on visiting Brasov you must use Vlad as your tour guide Five star
An excellent day out! Vlad’s amazing knowledge of the Bear population in Roumania gave a really good introduction to the trip around the bear sanctuary. After that we were off to Bran castle and a whirlwind history tour from Vlad about Roumania unification and the importance of the historic border between Wallachia and Transylvania. Than to Rastov for amazing views over the valley and onto the distillery, my word that stuff has a kick to it. A great experience thank you Vlad!
A fascinating tour around a stunning castle. Vlad’s knowledge and expertise were hugely appreciated.
Vlad was an amazing guide, really nice guy and really easy to talk to. He knows everything about this area and its history. I 100% recommend this tour.
I want to take a moment for gratitude. 🙏 I highly recommend going on a guided tour of the castle. The details of history and legend bring the castle to life and give you an unforgettably incredible experience! Our guide Miruna was phenomenal. Miruna’s knowledge of this castle’s history, her gift of intriguing visitors with the depth of the Dracula legend and her warm welcome made our visit deeply meaningful and memorable. She went above and beyond to make our visit truly special! Visiting Bran Dracula’s Castle in Transylvania, Romania is a dream come true! This dream of mine was inspired by the writing of Bram Stoker as well as the culture, legends, history and mysteries of Transylvania. This moment - to actually set foot in Bran Dracula’s Castle - was magical for me. To explore Transylvania in an April snowfall and find myself among the Carpathian Mountains was surreal. A heavenly smile from Dad was with me. I promised him one day I would try to visit this incredible place and I did it. Dad was with me in spirit. I’m grateful. I chose to dress up to celebrate this day. Vintage inspired dress by my favorite of all time Heart My Clothing The most fabulous Dracula socks by inspiring and creative Sock Candy and the best most comfortable heels I have ever worn by the best of the best Bhava Studio.
Great day exploring a variety of regional highlights. Something for everyone... young and old... adventure loving and fans of history
Was an excellent day trip! Bogdan was our guide and he knew so much about history and was very accommodating. Highly recommend!
Bogdan was our guide and he was great! He knew so much about history and was happy to be flexible. The bears were a highlight for us but everything was great!
Vlad was a great guide. Friendly and informative. Would highly recommend. His knowledge of the history of Romania, and its attractions was much appreciated.
All I can say is look no further if you want to tick off a few of the “must do” trips in Transylvania in one day with the best guide! Everything about this trip was 10/10! At each venue Vlad is available and full of in depth knowledge …we called him the encyclopaedia of Transylvania! He is super friendly and has a great sense of humour. Nothing is too much trouble and can quite easily say he is the best guide I’ve ever come across on all my adventures. The Bear sanctuary is a must see… as heartbreaking as some of the stories are it is rewarding to see that the bears are safe now. Bran castle and the fortress are breathtaking and steeped in so much history. You ask the question Vlad knows the answer! I know so much about Transylvania history in a few days. In between each venue Vlad also continues to share his knowledge, it’s unbelievable how much he knows! The Distillery… a really interesting place to visit but watch Vlad he nearly got us drunk and all the facts I had learnt throughout the day nearly got forgotten! Only joking but we had lots of fun the tasting the different varieties of Palinca! Honestly look no further book this tour!!
