A great tour of downtown Casablanca with multiple local food stops along the way. Throughout the tour we got to try several types of local foods, tour different parts of the city and get a bit of a history lesson as well between each stop. Rafik was an informative guide and took great pride in sharing his stories and knowledge of the city with us. We would highly recommend his tour and his company. It was a nice finish to our vacation in Morocco.
We got a private tour. The time has changed per app contact because now more the locals started eating. Which was very nice. The food was just very much actually too much. All the food was full portions which if the tour goes faster because there are few of you is too much! The food against it was very tasty!
Ashraf was a great host and guide, who met us at the hotel for our conveniance. Note that if you do it during ramadan you will not get a "tour" but have a walk through old medina to break fast with them, which is a traditional dinner
Nice different experience with our guide Ashraf. We tasted typical food (smoothie, soup, tagine, vegetables, olives, pastries and Moroccan tea) All the restaurateurs were friendly and generous. Ashraf answered all our questions and taught us a lot about Moroccan and local habits, we enjoyed it very much. Only downside, the price.
A Memorable Food Tour in Casablanca with Ashraf My wife and I had the pleasure of joining Ashraf for a food tour in Casablanca this past October, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we met him, Ashraf’s attention to detail and genuine care for our experience stood out. He curated a beautiful journey through quaint, tucked-away spots that offered not only exceptional food but also a glimpse into the soul of the city. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, but the soup place was my personal favorite—so local, so flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. Ashraf’s deep knowledge of Casablanca’s history and culture added rich context to each bite and every step we took. He also went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and comfortable navigating the city’s bustling streets. If you’re looking for an authentic, delicious, and insightful experience in Casablanca, I highly recommend booking a tour with Ashraf. You won’t regret it!
Really fun Authentic Moroccan Food Tour with our very personable tour guide Achraf. Tasty food where the locals eat. I especially loved the Moroccan soup. Achraf went above & beyond to ensure we were comfortable & safe.
From the start the price seems excessive, I pay 118 € (2people) for a walking tour and meals that at tourist price does not reach 15 €, I leave list (Banana shake and yogurt, chocolate bun, bottle of water Churro, Té Pastas 4 different, Tea Wafers with honey Soup (harari) Tajini (included a steak skewer, although it is true that we were offered if we wanted more), salad, dessert, bottle of water). I think I lack explanation about what we were eating.
We really enjoyed our guide while tasting local food and drinks whist having a complete history of everything Casablanca and Maroc.
Rafik was an excellent guide! It was a great experience and Rafik is very personable. The food tasted amazing, and Rafik helped us feel comfortable to try new delicacies (like escargot! … yum). One thing that stands out about Rafik in comparison to other tours we have been on all throughout the world is that he goes out of his way to give us recommendations and feedback for our travels and to ensure that all our questions are answered, he is very helpful and kind. Went out of his way for us in true Moroccan hospitality. Highly recommend!!
My partner and I gained an insightful and entertaining view of the history and life from a passionate Casablancan local, whilst stuffing our way through the many treats, broths, seafood, fruits and targine. All washed down with minted tea and fruit drinks.
