If you want to avoid large crowds of tourists and strict fast-paced schedules, this 12 hour driver is the service for you. Our friendly and accommodating driver picked us up early to beat the tourist rush at chichen itza, recommended a great lunch spot in the middle of Valladolid, and found the perfect cenotes for us to explore after. Everything went at the exact pace we wanted, allowing us to stay longer where we wanted and shorter when we were ready to move on. The whole experience was relaxed and stress free (very important to make a long day easy) knowing that we had the freedom to choose our next destination and weren't on a time crunch to meet a bus schedule. Well worth the price and an absolute must to make the most out of your excursion day on vacation.

Tim was recommend through someone that we knew. He kept us informed of pick up times, and things we needed to bring on the trip. Tim kept in touch before we came to Mexico and a day before the trip. He picked us up from our hotel promptly, and throughout the journey, was very informative and helpful. We visted Chichen Itza and a Cenota Both a must see whilst in Mexico. Would highly recommend Tim to others who are coming on holiday to this beautiful country. We stayed in the riveria Maya side of Mexico, and it is worth noting that as you cross the border to Chichen Itza the time zone changes.

Tim was incredible! He made our day touring Chichén Itzá and the cenote feel completely seamless and stress-free. Since it was our honeymoon, he went above and beyond to make it extra special — from taking us to a beautiful restaurant for lunch to surprising us with chocolates. He truly made the entire experience so fun, memorable, and easy. We even hired his company a second time for transportation to our next hotel because we trusted them so much, and they were incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had such a great time & were very happy with our experience. We booked a private 12 hour driver for our family of 4. The price was a little over $400 and was well worth it. We could have fit up to 8 passengers in the van. We had done a group tour in the past to visit some of the same places last year, but did not like the restrictions of being stuck with a large group and on a specific schedule & were much happier with this private ride. We were able to visit chichen itza, Oman cenote and go to a restaurant for dinner. Tim reached out to me shortly after booking to get an idea of what our desired itinerary was & gave us some great suggestions. Philippe was our driver & was wonderful. He was kind and patient with us. He shared tips with us at each location and even stopped multiple times for us to use the bathroom on our longer ride. 🤣 we would absolutely book with them again!

The tour we took with Tim was so amazing! I celebrated my 50th birthday that day and Tim made sure it was very special and memorable! On our tour, we visited the Coba and Tulum ruins, experienced a sacred Mayan blessing from a shaman in a cute Mayan village, and swam in a magical cave cenote. It was the perfect birthday experience! I can’t thank Tim enough for that! He not only helped with the planning by providing us with great ideas for places to see, including an amazing cenote, but was also a fun, knowledgeable and considerate driver. He even surprised us with a box of chocolates for my birthday! I can’t say enough good things about Tim, and I highly recommend booking an excursion with him, especially if you want an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience! :-)

We booked 2 separate days with Tim. First, we did the Chichen Itza area and the 2nd day we did Tulum and the area. For both days, having your own private driver opened up a lot of flexibility and unique experiences. We were able to arrive in Chichen Itza earlier than the big tour groups so it wasn’t as packed when we arrived. Note that there’s a small extra charge with the early pick up. Tim provided excellent recommendations for restaurants that we wouldn’t have had a chance to taste in a bigger tour group. I highly suggest booking with him to secure specific days and then plan your itinerary afterwards. Tim was good about contacting me as soon as I booked, and we worked out an itinerary based on my preferences and his myriad of suggestions. Don’t forget to get extra pesos as you’ll need it to pay for tolls and parking at the various sites.

Wow - great day. So pleased we booked with Teve Tours. We booked a 12 hour private driver and it didn’t disappoint. Tim was so incredibly helpful beforehand guiding us in the best things to do. We chose to visit Chichen Itza, Valladolid and a fab cenote. Also had an awesome restaurant recommended for lunch. Our teenage daughters loved it all, as did we.
