Camino al Cerro Dois Irmãos Amanecer o Atardecer

We booked the trip relatively last minute and decided to do the sunset hike. Our tour guide, Lucas, was very friendly and accommodating, managed everything for us, and of course safely brought us up and down. Riding the moto-taxi through the Vidigal favela is part of this trip and was already super exciting in itself. Once at the top, the somewhat steep but truly doable hiking trail begins with a little endurance. With a brisk pace, you can reach the top in about 30 minutes and are rewarded with a fantastic view! Lucas offered to take photos of us and could tell us a lot about just about everything in his good English that we asked him. On the way down, it quickly got dark, and Lucas offered us headlamps, a great service! Additionally, there were many great restaurant and bar recommendations on the way down, which we tried and can only confirm! So ask away :) After we arrived back down with the moto-taxi, he waited until we were safely in the taxi/Uber, so nothing could go wrong. We would also immediately book the sunset tour again, and not the sunrise one! One can get to know the path well in the light (it has a few tricky spots), it is still pleasantly warm from the day, and one definitely knows what weather is coming. Furthermore, one does not have to get up at 3 a.m. at night… All in all, a wonderful experience that we can only recommend! Greetings also to Anderson, who was also a super friendly contact! Anderson is literally the king of the hill. Super knowledgeable and did a fantastic job showing us around the favela and helping us hike up two brothers. Don't look any further if you want a hiking tour guide. He is literally best in Rio!

It was an amazing experience! Our guide Anderson was very attentive to our needs and throughout the activity he told us interesting facts about Rio de Janeiro. We had an amazing hike up Two Brothers with Anderson and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. From the start, he made sure we were among the first up to the trailhead. Making sure we got on motorcycles quickly and made sure we felt comfortable taking them, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Along the hike, he shared really interesting facts about the nature, the trail, and the local communities, with well-timed rest stops overlooking the favelas where he explained the history and social structure in a thoughtful way. Even though we’re avid hikers, he still checked in to make sure we were doing well. At the top, he found us the perfect spot to watch the sunset — unforgettable. It's a walk you enjoy from start to finish, back and forth! I recommend our guide Anderson, who was very attentive and made the tour much more entertaining, safe and relaxed. During the walk we spoke Spanish, English and Portuguese haha was very fun. It is an experience to do both alone and accompanied!🤙🤙

Absolutely amazing experience! Our guide Anderson was very knowledgeable and told us information and facts, he was inclusive to everyone in the tour group, and very friendly. He made sure everyone was keeping up, and doing fine during the hike. Definetly the best tour guide we had during our stay in Rio! Based our own experience while we stayed in Rio, two brothers hill had the most interesting, beautiful and scenic sight of the city compared to the other well known viewpoints. Perhaps even the highlight of the entire two week stay. The hike, and view of the city during sunrise from Two Brothers Hill is what I personally cherish as the best memory of all the things we did in Rio. We went there during June, which is considered winter. While waiting for the sunrise, the wind made us freezing cold - but it was all worth it in the end. Definetly bring a windproof jacket if you are visiting during the winter months and there is a lot of wind that day.

It was beautiful. We felt very safe. Our guide could tell us a lot about Brazil and history if we asked. He took very good care of us and also knew my few tips that made the experience unique. He has also sent us a list of activities and restaurant and is always there if we need him:) We are really super satisfied and Mega grateful that he was our guide in this great memory!!

We booked with anderson as a tour guide for two brothers hill morning sunrise, and it was gorgeous. He’s an amazing guide with great English, and super cool vibe. I would definitely recommend booking with him, if ur in rio and need a tour somewhere.

The hike was incredible from start to finish. Our guide (Anderson) was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe the whole way up. The views were absolutely worth it — you get that real Rio experience, surrounded by nature but still seeing the city and ocean from above. The pace was perfect, not rushed at all, and the guide gave us great info about the area, history, and even took amazing pictures for us. If you’re visiting Rio, you have to do this hike — it’s the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and local vibe. Highly recommend!
