Caminata por la montaña Wadi Rum: Umm Ad Dami, punto más alto de Jordania + tour en jeep y almuerzo
Descripción
Puede tachar "visitar el punto más alto de Jordania" de su lista de deseos. Te llevamos hasta el extremo sur de Jordania, donde apenas llegan turistas. Verá cómo cambian los colores, las montañas y el paisaje a medida que conducimos del desierto rojo al desierto blanco. Con 1854 metros sobre el nivel del mar, Umm Ad Dami te brinda una vista espectacular del norte de Arabia Saudita y el Mar Rojo. La subida en sí no es técnicamente difícil, pero el camino es muy rocoso y algunas secciones implican trepar. Después de la escalada, preparamos un almuerzo tradicional, mientras puedes caminar un poco más en el valle de Wadi Sabet. Nuestro enfoque principal será escalar la montaña Umm Ad Dami, pero también haremos algunas otras paradas para mostrarle más de la historia y los aspectos más destacados de Wadi Rum. Terminamos el recorrido en Um Sabatah, el mejor lugar para ver la mágica puesta de sol. DURANTE LA NOCHE Para obtener la experiencia completa de Wadi Rum, puede agregar una noche en nuestro campamento beduino o dormir afuera en la cueva, bajo las estrellas.

Itinerario
Wadi Rum Village: nos reuniremos en el Rest House en Wadi Rum Village entre las 09:30 y las 10:00. Este es el primer lugar que verás a tu derecha, cuando entres al pueblo. Hay un supermercado y una tienda de souvenirs y nuestra oficina está a la vuelta de la esquina. Cuando todos los turistas están presentes y recibidos por el guía, comenzamos el recorrido (alrededor de las 10:00)
Senderismo Jebel Umm Ad Dami - Senderismo y escalar la montaña Umm Ad Dami junto con su guía beduino experimentado, quien puede contarle muchas historias sobre el área, la vida beduina y las diversas plantas y flores que verá en el camino. La duración depende de tu ritmo, pero suele tardar entre 2 y 3 horas. En la cima, nos tomamos nuestro tiempo para relajarnos, tomar fotografías con la bandera jordana, disfrutar de la vista y beber un poco de té beduino fresco.
Almuerzo beduino tradicional: después de la caminata, su guía prepara un delicioso almuerzo tradicional, cocinado al aire libre en el fuego. El almuerzo que preparamos es diferente cada día, pero nos gusta prepararte una comida caliente con verduras, pan, hummus, yogur y otras delicias locales. Mientras cocinamos, puede explorar el área con una caminata, o simplemente sentarse y relajarse mientras disfruta del paisaje panorámico de Wadi Rum.
Desierto Blanco - El desierto blanco es totalmente diferente del Desierto Rojo. El desierto blanco está más adentro del desierto en un área remota, con menos turistas. Las vistas son impresionantes, y verás diferentes colores y formaciones rocosas como Mushroom Rock o Chicken Rock.
Wadi Sabet: este es un hermoso valle con una gran vista donde harás una caminata para explorar el área.
Chicken Rock - ¿Ves una vaca o un pollo? Decide por ti mismo cuando tomar algunas fotos divertidas a esta vista.
Cueva beduina: conduciendo por las áreas más remotas, verá cuevas escondidas en la montaña. Estos fueron construidos hace muchos años cuando no había casas y ni siquiera un pueblo. Toma un pico y descubre cómo vivían nuestros antepasados hace siglos.
Jeep Tour: el tiempo que nos queda antes del atardecer, lo dedicamos a hacer turismo, visitando los aspectos más destacados de Wadi Rum.
Um Sabatah Sunset Viewpoint: Wadi Rum es conocido por tener las puestas de sol más impresionantes. ¡Y conocemos los mejores lugares para verlo! Lo llevaremos a un área apartada donde puede contemplar el amplio paisaje panorámico mientras se pone el sol, mientras preparamos un té beduino dulce en el fuego. Simplemente siéntese en el colchón o en la arena y disfrute de toda la belleza que ve a su alrededor.

The all-day hike was one of our most authentic and memorable days in Jordan. Ateyeg (sorry if I didn’t get his name right) led us to the summit after a trip of about an hour. The hike isn’t long, but it’s uphill the whole way, on terrain that’s sandy in places but mostly rocky. The view from the top is amazing! Afterward, he made us lunch and showed us several other beautiful spots. He even invited us over to his grandparents’ tent for tea. We really enjoyed having some time to walk around on our own and climb a rock or two. I highly recommend this tour! 👌🏻 I hope that soon many visitors will once again be able to enjoy the scenery there and the kindness of the locals! 🤞🏻

I really enjoyed my stay in Wadi Rum Desert Dreams. Great food, wonderful guides, especially Ali with whom we climbed the highest peak in Jordan. Also crazy singing and dancing with Bakhir (don't forget to ask him for a riddle).

The best experience on our trip to Jordan! We had a campfire and a lunch in the desert made by local people! It was very good. We went to climb desert rocks and a lot more.:) If you are looking for going in the desert choose them.

We did 2h jeep tour and overnight at the camp plus breakfast. Our host/ guide tour was so nice awesome and sweet : Mohamed is super cool, good person to spend a day with. He knows all the spot as we live there. The sunset is magic you feel like in the movie and peacefull at the camp with all the stars. We recommand to go with the Dream Team and yes you will have the best time at the desert. We were two girls and it was safe for us so family, groupe of friends or solo traveler : Everyone will be well welcome with this peaceful team

The stay at Desert Dream Camp Wadi Rum was a great and authentic experience. The tents are cosy and the dinner tent is decorated with nice carpets and pillows. Eating dinner as well as sitting at the warming fire (real desert experience: nights can get cold) is considered a very social event and offers the opportunity to chat with locals. In case of questions you were always helped by the owner Bakhir and staff.

Beautiful landscape, sunset and amazing night sky view. We felt like part of the host family, stayed around the fire at night and had dinner together. Everything is authentic, but with great wi-fi connection ;-) The food was excellent, very tasty.

We stayed overnight in the camp, went to watch the sunrise and then did the 2 hour 4WD tour. Badhir and Rashed were so accommodating and did a wonderful job. They cooked a traditional meal and we spent the night socialising with music and dancing. The camp was clean and well looked after. Our tour was perfect, informative and fun! Bakhir and his team are really nice and friendly people. We had a great 2 days in the desert. We went for 2 hikes and they were great too. The camp site was basic but is very clean and they had hot shower! For the price we were very happy and got the complete Bedouin experience!
