We had an absolutely fantastic time on this guided hike, all thanks to Jeff and Mikayla! As first-time hikers, we naturally fell behind the rest of the group, but they both went above and beyond to make sure we were always alright. They continuously encouraged us and advised us to just move at our own pace, which completely took the pressure off and allowed us to actually enjoy the journey. The hike itself was wonderful, and while it was definitely challenging for beginners, the view at the top was absolutely worth every single step. We couldn't have asked for better guides. Thank you, Jeff and Mikayla—you guys are the best!
This made our day to read, and we'll make sure Jeff and Mikayla see this! So glad your Banff National Park Guided Hike with Lunch experience lived up to the trip. Thank you for taking the time to share it.

A great morning trip. Buffy our guide was exceptional, she was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the tour. Wildlife, terrain, indigenous information was all well explained. The vehicle was clean with large viewing windows. Lunch was also very good. There were seven on the tour and we thought it was great value for money. Last comment the views are breathtaking . The tour is a must do.
Fantastic experience. Anneke was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. Highly recommended. Good for every season of the year
Jade & Evie were fabulous guides! Fun, engaging, and knowledgeable. From the very start, they were purposefully engaging — making sure everyone felt included and connected throughout the hike. Highly recommend Discover Banff!
Snow closed the road to Moraine Lake so we hiked the Stanley Glacier Trail instead. Our guide Jodie was very enthusiastic about the history and geology of the area. The pace was good for the group and the scenery was magnificent.
I did the Larch Valley Hike and it was fantastic! Super well organised, pick up and drop off was on time, and the packed lunch was great. But our two guides Evie and Jade (hope I got their names right!) really elevated the experience - they were friendly, experienced hikers and made the whole group feel very safe and welcome. I was also lucky enough to have a great tour group, which made for great conversation! This is my second Discover Banff tour and I will always recommend this company if you’re looking for a great day out in Banff.
Sam was a great guide, we learn a lot of things about the beautiful region of Banff. We had a fantastic day! Thanks for this amazing time Sam. You were professionnal, with a lot of knowledge, very kind and enthusiastic. Thanks from the french family of 6.
Chloe was a great guide. Even though it rained a bit on us, the hike to the Plain of 6 Glaciers was awesome inspiring. The lunch was very hearty. Photo ops galore!
This was a good, pretty, moderately challenging hike of approximately six miles. It was good to do it in the morning as there were many people coming up the trail as we descended after lunch.
